GeneralBefore every order (loose insert, supplement or fixed insert), the publisher
must be provided with three binding sample copies, plus a reserved sample in
the case of fixed inserts. The order does not become binding until it has been
approved in writing by the publisher. In special cases, the publisher reserves

Please note: if any processing difficulties occur due to loose inserts / supple-

Palletisationl EUR-pallets should be used. 1:1 exchange
l The palette packaging must prevent any displacement, slippage or damage
of the contents.
l It must be designed to ensure that no moisture can penetrate from the

l A palette proof must be attached on at least two sides (front sides) and if
possible on all four sides.
l The palette proof must specify the following details:
a) The object in question
b) The issue number/date
c) The title of the loose insert, supplement or fixed insert
d) Language
e) The number of copies on the palette
f) The total number and number of palettes
g) Sender and recipient
h) Space for observations
Delivery slipl The details on the delivery slip must correspond to the information on the
palette proof.
l For deliveries from abroad, the delivery terms (INCO terms) must be stated
on the commercial invoice: DDP - Delivered duty paid.
l Customs clearance costs are borne by the importer.

Guidelinesl It must be obvious to readers of “Schweizer Familie” whether
they are reading an editorial page or paid advertising space.
l Advertorials must therefore stand out clearly from the editorial
layout of “Schweizer Familie”.
l The client must be clearly identifiable by an integrated, free-
standing company logo and/or company address.
l Advertorials generally fill a whole page, or at least half a page.
Specificationsl The overall impression (e.g. layout, columns, design elements,
fonts, appearance) must be clearly distinguishable from the edi-
torial pages of “Schweizer Familie”.
l Each advertorial must be in legible print and identified as an
“Advert” in the top right-hand or left-hand corner in a font size
of at least 12 points.
l Half-page advertorials are separated from editorial space by a
line.
Decisionl Advertorials are presented to the Head of Sales and Publishing
Management. If the specifications and guidelines have not been observed,
the advertorial may be returned for correction.
l The Editor in Chief reserves the right to refuse an advertorial.
ProcessingThe print-ready data must reach “Schweizer Familie” one week before the
closing date for advertisements.
PricesAdvertorial prices are subject to the relevant advertising rates for
“Schweizer Familie”. “Schweizer Familie” may be entrusted with the draf-
