It seems that we are being barraged with articles, posts, memes and broadcasts about the deficiencies of
2016. A bitter U.S. presidential election, celebrity deaths, floods, fires, terrorist attacks and more have all
contributed to a rather bleak reflection of the year most recently past. Even the most positive of people are
feeling laden with negativity. It’s time to close the 2016 door and open a window to let the fresh air of 2017
flow in. Embrace new possibilities. Rebuild. Seek new beginnings. Find a fresh start. It won’t be easy, but it will
be worth it. Take a deep breath and take the first step. After all, the secret of getting ahead is getting started.
Wishing you success in your life and with your business in the New Year.

COSE has teamed with FirstEnergy’s Ohio Utilities to provide member businesses with an
exclusive energy savings opportunity. The first step is a comprehensive assessment of how
your facility uses power; gas, electric, even steam. The best part? There’s no out of pocket There’s no out of pocket There’s no out of pocket There’s no out of pocket
expenseexpenseexpenseexpense! Read what Craig Wallace, CEO of PACE Engineering, Inc., learned from his energy
audit with the COSE Energy Advisors.
"Every firm looks to lower their operating costs. Pace Engineering took advantage of the
energy audit that COSE offered. Energy accounts for 4% of our costs from process gas and
electricity used in our manufacturing to general uses heat and lighting. Most people view
energy costs as fixed. The energy audit identified a number of projects that when imple-
mented will reduce our energy costs more than 9%. We were surprised because five years
ago, we spent more than $250,000 on energy efficiency projects. From the COSE audit, we
learned where our energy is consumed and have uncovered even more savings than were
identified in the audit." - Craig Wallace, CEO PACE Engineering, Inc.
We look forward to providing you more options than anywhere else and providing a no-cost consultative review of your bills. For
general questions, please feel free the COSE Energy Team at (216) 592-2205.
