Lancaster Classical Guitar FestivalErnesto Tamayo Artistic Director
The first four months of our 2011-2012 Artistic Season was a great success. Thousands of people walked through our doors to see dance performances, classical music concerts, opera, jazz and Broadway cabarets, lectures, small theatrical presentations, art exhibits and other special events. The Season continues with nearly 100 more events and performances planned from January through June, 2012. You’ll find many of those events, but not all of them, listed here. We are adding more events every week.
Also, starting in January, The Ware Center proudly presents a Season full of feature films and shorts. We will show foreign films, academy award winners, documentaries, films made locally or with writers, producers or directors from the region, operas and professional dance performances. In short, films that cannot ordinarily be seen outside large metropolitan areas. To find out the schedule, please go to www:Millersville.edu/ware-center, after January 1st, where you will find a listing for the entire season. If you would like to get our weekly e-newsletter, which describes the events scheduled at The Ware Center for the coming week, please send your email address to: [email protected].
We hope you will come to see our performances, thus supporting what Millersville University is doing downtown to create a vibrant visual and performing arts center where our entire community can meet, socialize and be entertained.
