UNITED PENTECOSTAL CHURCH
July 62010
Dear Ministers of the Indiana District
Greetings in the lovely name of that one of whom the angel spoke saying IIThou shalt call his name
JESUS for he shaUsave his people from their sins
It has been an honor to serve as you r district superintendent for the past eight years Sister Stroup and I
are truly humbled by the love and support you have shown us Thank you for your many kindnesses
Our camps and other district and sectional meetings of this past year have been greatly blessed of the
lord There is agood spirit of unity throughout the district and many of our churches are experiencing
revival and growth This speaks well of the leadership and vision of our Indiana pastors and ministers I
truly thank you for all of your efforts and hard work I fully believe that together and with Gods help we
can reach all of Indiana with the only saving message -the true gospel of Jesus Christ
What a privilege it has been this year to once again serve with our Indiana District Board These are all
good men who truly have the welfare of our district at heart I especially want to give honor to our long
time District Secretary Brother Glenn Seaman who has honorably served in this capacity for the past 29
years Brother Seaman has chosen to withdraw his name from consideration for this office this year He
has served us well and we want to take this opportunity to publicly thank him and hi~ sweet wife Sister
Nell Seaman for their many years of faithful service Thank you We love you both
We also deeply appreciate the dedication and commitment of all of our department heads and
secretaries - both on the district and sectional levels Your dedication and hard work does not go
unnoticed We sincerely thank you for all that you are and for all that you do for the Indiana District
Our New Day campaign is making steady progress towards its initial goal of paying off our campground
While the economy has hindered some from dOing what they had hoped to do we do so appreciate
everyone who has participated in this effort and we look forward to the soon coming day when we will
at long last be able to burn the camp mortgage I If you have not yet made a pledge for this year please
do so today After the camp is paid off we plan to use the monies that come in to proceed with much
needed upgrades and repairs beginning in our dormitories Again thank you for any help you can give us
in the achieving of these goals

It is truly a joy to have our General Superintendent Brother David Bernard with us as our headquarters
representative this year We especially look forward to his ministry - first in tonights ordination service
and then at 1000 AM tomorrow at which time he will be sharing his Vision for Growth for the UPCI
followed with a time of Q and A You will not want to miss this opportunity to be with our visionary and
very capable General Superintendent
On Thursday at 1000 AM Brother Nathan Scoggins from San Antonio Texas will be challenging both
preaclJers and saints alike to Launch into the Ministry that God has called us to in these endtimes
Brother Scoggins is a truly humble and yet passionate man You will be truly challenged and
strengthened by his ministry
On Friday morning at 1000 Brother Scott Graham will be ministering on a topic of his choosing Brother
Grahams messages are always timely and right on target I know you will be blessed by his words
Many have expressed to me their desire to hear more of Brother Mike Easter You will be given that
opportunity in our Wednesday Thursday and Friday night services which will begin at 730 Once again
as last year Indiana will be greatly benefitted and blessed by the ministry of this good man of God We
also look forward to seeing you at the Ministers and Spouses Banquet on Thursday night after church
This annual fellowship is always uplifting and beneficial
I fully believe that God has promised a great harvest to the church of the endtime I love the words of
Isaiah 60 IIArise shine for thy light is come and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee For behold
the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people but the LORD shall arise upon thee
and his glory shall be seen upon thee And the Gentiles shall come to thy light and kings to the
brightness ofthy rising lift up thine eyes round about and see all they gather themselves together
they come to thee thy sons shall come from far and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side Then
thou shalt see and flow together and thine heart shall fear and be enlarged because the abundance of
the sea shall be converted unto thee the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee We can and must
partake in this great endtime harvest of souls We need more churches We need more preachers We
need more workers We need the unity of the Holy Ghost We need to walk in the light of His will for our
day lets accept the challenge Lets lift up our eyes -lets flow together -lets allow our hearts to be
enlarged with compassion for the lost
We love you all and pray for you frequently May this coming year be the best ever for you and yours
and for the Indiana District ofthe United Pentecostal Church God bless

Dear Indiana District Ministers
The Indiana Home Missions Department would like to thank you for your support this past year
The Indiana District with your help and support gave $5606217 to Christmas for Christ in 2009 I am profoundly thankful for your giving and assure you that furthering the work ofGod through Home Missions is our interest
Currently Indiana has two Home Missions status churches home missionaries Matthew Cotrill in Michigan City and Sergio Acosta in Ligonier These two brethren serving along with their wives and families are both having positive results
This year three pastors have completed their first five years ofhome missionary status We congratulate the Henrys in Bulffion (January 10) the Simnicks in Lowell (April 10) and the Bagwells in Shelbyville (July 10) Our continued prayers and support are with them
We must continue our efforts to start new churches and daughter works I appeal to all ministers to actively pray regarding this urgent need It is without question Gods will for us to go forward as a church What can you do this year to help plant churches and daughter works With your support with your prayer and with your involvement we will increase the number ofchurches in Indiana
Indiana can easily give over $100000 to Christmas for Christ per year therefore I ask all to generously support Christmas tor Christ 2010
Again thank you for your support prayer and involvement

bull Happy Camp Season It is a privilege to be apart of a great District and it is a distinct honor to work with such an incredible Youth Committee It is our desire to do the bull following through the ministry of the Indiana Youth Division 1 To be a support tobull the local pastor and reemphasize the Word that they are preaching and teaching to bull their young people 2 To equip young people to reach their world with the
bull Apostolic message 3 For them to be encouraged through fellowship and interaction with other young people in the Indiana District
Summer is an exciting time our youth camps begin next week and we are in the middle of our annual Sheaves For Christ Drive This year our theme is simple Live to Give we are endeavoring to lead by example reminding youth the meaning of sacrifice Our goal is $175000 and great reports are filtering in Point of Grace in Madison raised over $2500 in a fundraiser for SFC and World of Pentecost in Columbus has sacrificially committed over $10000 These are great encouragements however what we need is each church and each young person to sacrifice for the cause of SFC It takes all of us giving $20 to $20000 to continue to move the gospel around the world
Our committee will be leading the charge for our first SFC 5K runwalk amp 10K ride on July 31 It will take place at the campground you are invited to join us and be apart of a landmark day in SFC Sacrificial Giving You can find more information from your sectional director or at wwwindianayouthorg
Thanks again for your continued support of the ministries of Indiana Youth I thank you for the opportunity to serve

very capable General Superintendent

Greetings to the Indiana District Ministers
The Indiana District Ladies Ministries Division would like to express our sincere thanks for your support of our ministry this past year
Our commitment to the UPCI Mothers Memorial Offering has been a blessing worldwide We promoted this offering in the spring by hosting luncheons for your wives and your local ladies leader We were able to enjoy each others fellowship share fund raising ideasand set goals while enjoying lunch which the District Ladies Ministries sponsored Our plan for 2011 is to meet with you and your wives at the sectional conference for this purpose
In ~009 the Indiana District gave $9200000 to Mothers Memorial Though this was more than $1300000 less than our offering in 2008 we were thankful in a broken economy to be able to give such a wonderful offering Th~s is an average church offering of 58598 We were honored atthe UPCI General Conference to have two of our churches listed in the top 20 offerings in the nation To God be the Glory Our goal for 2010 is $9220000 Please help us reach and exceed this goal-we still have a few days left to get your offerings in to Marci Johnson Ladies Ministries Secretary
Our ladies conference for 2010 is coming up August 6 and 7 It was changed this year from April to August to accommodate the very busy schedule in the spring at Calvary Tabernacle They are such wonderful hosts and we thank them once again for inviting the ladies of Indiana to enjoy conference at Calvary Our speakers will be Donna Linville Virginia District Ladies Ministries President and Karen Harding recording artist and conference speaker from Nashville Tennessee Both of these fine ladies have roots back home in Indiana Please encourage your ladies to attend
It is my privilege to serve the Indiana District It is my firm hope to see the New Day Campaign end soon with a mortgage burning and look forward to what lies ahead for Indiana and future generations I offer my highest regards and deepest respect to Brother Stroup District Superintendent and Brother Seaman District Secretary and the Indiana District Board for their support
Sincerely ~

bull bull Dear Ministers of the Indiana District
bull Happy Camp Season It is a privilege to be apart of a great District and it is a distinct honor to work with such an incredible Youth Committee It is our desire to do the bull following through the ministry of the Indiana Youth Division 1 To be a support tobull the local pastor and reemphasize the Word that they are preaching and teaching to bull their young people 2 To equip young people to reach their world with the
bull Apostolic message 3 For them to be encouraged through fellowship and interaction with other young people in the Indiana District

~elY

Sincerely ~
)wL~ Jane Cottrill

bull bull Dear Ministers of the Indiana District
bull Happy Camp Season It is a privilege to be apart of a great District and it is a distinct honor to work with such an incredible Youth Committee It is our desire to do the bull following through the ministry of the Indiana Youth Division 1 To be a support tobull the local pastor and reemphasize the Word that they are preaching and teaching to bull their young people 2 To equip young people to reach their world with the
bull Apostolic message 3 For them to be encouraged through fellowship and interaction with other young people in the Indiana District
Thanks again for your continued support of the ministries of Indiana Youth I thank you for the opportunity to serve

bull bull Dear Ministers of the Indiana District
bull Happy Camp Season It is a privilege to be apart of a great District and it is a distinct honor to work with such an incredible Youth Committee It is our desire to do the bull following through the ministry of the Indiana Youth Division 1 To be a support tobull the local pastor and reemphasize the Word that they are preaching and teaching to bull their young people 2 To equip young people to reach their world with the
bull Apostolic message 3 For them to be encouraged through fellowship and interaction with other young people in the Indiana District

~elY

Sincerely ~
)wL~ Jane Cottrill

bull Happy Camp Season It is a privilege to be apart of a great District and it is a distinct honor to work with such an incredible Youth Committee It is our desire to do the bull following through the ministry of the Indiana Youth Division 1 To be a support tobull the local pastor and reemphasize the Word that they are preaching and teaching to bull their young people 2 To equip young people to reach their world with the
bull Apostolic message 3 For them to be encouraged through fellowship and interaction with other young people in the Indiana District

Sincerely ~
)wL~ Jane Cottrill

bull bull Dear Ministers of the Indiana District
bull Happy Camp Season It is a privilege to be apart of a great District and it is a distinct honor to work with such an incredible Youth Committee It is our desire to do the bull following through the ministry of the Indiana Youth Division 1 To be a support tobull the local pastor and reemphasize the Word that they are preaching and teaching to bull their young people 2 To equip young people to reach their world with the
bull Apostolic message 3 For them to be encouraged through fellowship and interaction with other young people in the Indiana District
