Hamilton HospitalWhen the doors open on the new Hamilton Hospital in the fall of 2010,this state-of-the-art facility will not only incorporate the latest tech-nology available, but it has been designed to more effectivelyserve the needs of their patients and families within a healingenvironment. With local physicians, a broad base of con-sulting specialists, a professional staff, and caring volun-teers, Hamilton Hospital prides itself in "Caring for EveryGeneration". While the hospital will continue to hostmany of the advantages of a larger regional hospital, it’s theadded benefit of personal care and concern most often asso-ciated with a community hospital like Hamilton Hospital, which makes the difference. Patient safety and wellness, efficien-cy and functionality were all key factors in the new design, while natural ele-ments and materials will also contribute to a more inviting hospitable atmos-phere, characteristic of Webster City.

Located just east of the Hamilton County Courthouse, the new $39 million hos-pital will continue to operate as a Critical Access Hospital licensed for 25 beds. The dream became a reality when local business owners, Bob and Mary VanDiest, pledged $10 million towards the cost of constructing and equipping anew hospital in Webster City. This was their way of "giving back" to the com-munity that had supported their family and business enterprises over the years.

As the premier healthcare facility in Hamilton County for more than 75 years,Hamilton Hospital continually strives to meet the changing needs of those theyserve. Some of the services provided by the hospital today include:
