111 consider it a great privilege to be a member of Assumption High School and I am honored to represent the Class of 19 77. It has been said that a friend is someone to talk with, to dance with, to think with and to understand. I have found this to be true. I have always been proud to say that I am from Assumption because I have seen the values of Ca tho I ic Education. I only hope the present and future students will appreciate this as much as I have. 11

KNIGHTS REMEMBERED
Timothy J. Madrigal
July 2 8, 1959 - July 24, 1976
Lori Ann Low
April 25, 1961 - Feb. 25, 1977
In Memory of Tim Madrigal, '77 and Lori Low, '80 11The souls of the just are in the hand of God. They seemed in view of the foolish to be dead. But they are in peace. And God in His great love wil I raise them up on the last day. On that day we will see them again, and every tear will be wiped away, and our joy will be full.

As graduation draws near, the class of '77 excitedly anticipates the future. Yet, we are able to stop and reflect on the warm memories that the past four years have given us.
Recall the time when ..• "off green" was unheard of • .. each big car raffle prize went to one of our class ... we knew Assumption was really "ours" •.. our sophomore football team went undefeated ••• Vittorio Favati qualified for the State wrestling quarterfinals • .• members of the girls swim team made State ••. John Wessling was lead scorer in metro varsity basketball ••. the girls' gymnastics team was one of the best six in State ••• the football team made its first appearance in the State playoffs .•. we had the biggest turnout for the Spaghetti Supper ... we finally got the Spirit Stick ...
As each class passes through, a unique group of people goes along with it. The class of '77 is no exception. We have all grown from the knowledge Assumption has offered us, so that twenty years from now we will be able to sit back and think, "Oh thank heaven for 177 11
