ff4 Miss Johnson
We are delighted to welcome Miss Johnson as a 3rd grade teacher. Miss Johnson received a Liberal Studies-Teacher Education degree with an emphasis in U.S. History and a minor in Bible from The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, CA. She has taught 2nd grade for the past 2 years in her hometown of Redding, CA. She has always wanted to be an elementary teacher and to share her love of learning with students. She is looking forward to joining the Park Christian Community and living in the FM area. What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy reading historical fiction and mysteries, shopping, and going to the movies. I also appreciate going out to eat or grabbing coffee with friends. One of my favorite activities is to travel with my family or friends and visit new places. Why does teaching/working at Park Christian School appeal to you? I look forward to teaching at Park because of the biblical foundation that will accompany each aspect of learning. I’m excited to begin each morning with Scripture reading and prayer. I appreciate that staff, students, and parents can work together in a Christian community. I attended PCS as a young student and I’m excited to come back and teach. The best part about following Jesus is... forgiveness, mercy, and faithfulness to keep His promises.
Mrs. Jen LienPCS is pleased to welcome Mrs. Lien as a PT Receptionist. She will be job sharing with Mrs. Harmelink. Mrs. Lien received a Bachelor of Science in Office Administration from Southwest MN State University. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, she worked at Banner Health System as an Administrative Assistant and Materials Management Analyst and then for MeritCare (now Sanford) as a Medical Transcriptionist.About Mrs. LienI am married to Sid and we have three children – Andy (10th grade), Josh (7th grade) and Lindsey (4th grade). We have been homeschooling for the past 7 years and are so excited for all of our kids to be at PCS this year! What do you like to do in your spare time? I love to read, scrapbook, play games and spend time at the lake with my family. Why does teaching/working at Park Christian School appeal to you? I love the mission of Park Christian School – equipping students to think biblically, live wisely and serve faithfully. I am excited to serve the Lord through serving the students and families of PCS!The best part about following Jesus is…The joy and peace that comes only from Him! I’m also grateful for His wisdom and
direction in life. His Word is truly a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
