Pedagogy and the 1:1 ClassroomiPads do not replace best practices in the
classroom. Teachers must continue to do what is best, just with an iPad. Assessments: Use assessment to guide teaching. Engagement: Students need to be engaged in
rigorous, relevant lessons. Remember to include Bloom’s Taxonomy in lesson products.
Teaching with Data: Students need to assess, evaluate, and analyze data.
Analytical Skills: Students need to be engaged in activities and explorations that develop higher order thinking skills.
Presenting from your iPadIn a 1:1 classroom you will still want and
need to use your laptop computer. By installing an app to control your
computer from an iPad you have more mobility to circulate the classroom and control presentations.
