Some of the crucial factors impacting HSDPA throughput
• User throughput dependent on device capabilities (3gpp UE category definition: Max throughput capability varies from 1.8 Mbps to 21 Mbps)
• User throughput dependent on number of simultaneous active users in the cell: Higher the simultaneous active users, lower the throughput (HSDPA is a shared channel)
• User throughput varies based on radio conditions and locations
• Application type, usage etc.
