HYDROSPHERE
It´s the blue, liquid
part of the Earth.It
contains all the
waters on Earth: the
seas, oceans, rivers,
lakes and
groundwater.
DISTRIBUTION OF EARTH´S WATER
Most of the water on the Earth´ssurface is SALT WATER
Only 3% of the water on the Earthis FRESH WATER.

We buildwells to obtain
groundwater
Groundwateris stored in aquifers
Groundwater is waterunder the Earth´s
surface.
Groundwatercomes from rain
and snow.
Groundwateris used foragriculture
and industry.
GROUNDWATER
PLACES WHERE WE FIND WATER
It´s a very large piece of ice that floats in the sea.
It´s an area where water is stored under the Earth´ssurface.
It´s a large area of water surrounded by land.
It´s fresh water that flows down from highlands intolakes, seas and oceans.
It´s a small river that usually flows into a bigger river.
It´s a very large mass of salt water. OCEAN

THE WATER CYCLE
1. The sun heats water in oceans, seas, lakes and rivers.Water evaporates and forms water vapour in the air.
2. Water vapour cools and it condenses into waterdroplets and forms clouds.
3. Droplets in the clouds form bigger drops that fallfrom the clouds as snow, hail or rain.
4. Rain falls to the land and into the rivers and lakesand it goes to seas and oceans. Some water also goes ito the ground. (GROUNDWATER)

The WATER CYCLE is the movement and changes of state of water(solid, liquid and gaseous) around the Earth.

How do we use water?
WE USE WATER FOR DRINKING
WE USE WATER FOR HYGIENE
WE USE WATER FOR COOKING
WE USE WATER FOR CLEANING
WE USE WATER FOR AGRICULTURE
WE USE WATER FOR FUN
How can we save water?TURN OFF THE TAP WHEN YOU BRUSH
YOUR TEETH
TURN OFF THE TAPAFTER USING IT
HAVE A SHOWER INSTEAD OF A BATH
FIX LEAKY TAPS
DON´T POLLUTE WATER WITH RUBBISH
WHEN YOU DO LAUNDRY
WASH FULL LOADS
USE A BUCKET INSTEAD OF A HOSE
