Bethel High School Internship/Cadet Teaching/CWE
Programs Bethel High School Internship, Cadet Teaching and CWE Programs provide structured, meaningful, independent experiences for senior students. These programs allow students to intern in local businesses, Bethel public schools and non-profit organizations so that they may explore potential careers and courses of study and fully understand future career expectations. The emphasis of these programs is on career exploration through internship tasks matched with specific skills and competencies, and includes reflection through journal entries and self-‐evaluations.
These programs require responsibility, independence and decision-‐making skills, and provide an opportunity to make use of these skills outside the constructs of the classroom. Internships also help the students make a smoother transition from high school to college, the work place, or the military.
Internship Sites: Following is a list of local businesses and organizations who currently host an intern, have hosted an intern in the past two years, or who have pledged to host an intern in the future.
