Display stack cathode organic & anode layer on top of another layer forms an circuitry
The pixels are defined by the deposition of organic material in continuous discreet ‘dot’ pattern each pixel is activated directly
A corresponding voltage is delivered to cathode & anode stimulating the middle organic layer
Amoled pixels turn on & off three times faster than the speed conventional motion picture film

Samsung has marketed its version as super Amoled
Researchers at DU Pont used computational fluid dynamics [CFD] software to optimize coating processes for Amoled which is competitive in cost & performance

This term is marketed by Motorola to describe a brighter display than super amoled series but also higher resolution
[qHD or 960*540] for super amoled [WVGA] OR 800*480 for super amoled
advanceThis display type is used on the Motorola
