Noooooo!

Oh, no… this really wasn’t a good idea! Ooops, we’re going

to the wrong floor. That shoe store you wanted to visit was on the third floor!

YIKES!

This shoppingcenter is huge!

Let’s take the escalatorup. It will be a fun ride.

Remember, step on or off the escalator in the right direction.Going the wrong way can be dangerous for you and others! If you find yourself going to the wrong floor, stay on the escalator and then take another one up or down to the right floor.

Bob goes

the wrong way

I can’t quite keep it steady…

Look out below! This is harder than I thought.

Wow, we found some great shoes!

Now let’s go up this escalator…

I’m not sure if that’s a good idea!

I’ll just hold on tight.

Oh no!

Remember that escalators are not the way to travel with shopping carts, strollers or other heavy objects! Take the elevator instead.

Oops! Escalators

are not for shopping

carts

Bob and Max should never take the escalator with their shopping cart. Help them find their way through the maze to the elevator!

Spot the difference. Max and Bob are traveling safely in the picture on the right. Find 5 mistakes in the left-hand picture.

Bob’s scarf and his trunk are between the doors, Bob is on a skateboard, Max is facing back, Max is not holding onto Bob.

Bob is not holding his shopping bag and his hand is not on the handrail. Bob’s shoelaces are untied and his scarf could get caught. Max is not holding onto Bob.

Elevators are relaxing. We just press the button, and then wait for it to arrive.

Now stand clear, Bob. The doors are closing!

Yikes! I have to be more careful next time!

When you enter the elevator, stay safe by standing away from the doors.
