VGT TurbochargerPACCAR’s variable geometry turbocharger is both simple and precise. Electric actuation allows infinite adjustment, providing the exact amount of boost necessary for superior response, time after time.
High Pressure Common Rail Fuel SystemThe high pressure common rail fuel system supplies a precise mixture of fuel and air at a constant pressure, regardless of engine rpm. This timing flexibility allows multiple injection events per cycle, which maximizes fuel economy and performance while decreasing noise and exhaust emissions.
Cooled EGRThis next-generation exhaust gas recirculation system lowers combustion temperatures for reduced emissions and optimized fuel economy.
After-treatment SystemThe after-treatment system combines a particulate filter (which by itself reduces particulate matter by 90 percent) with proven Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, employing a copper zeolite catalyst, to deliver near-zero emissions.
Best-in-Class ComponentsPACCAR’s design and development, production and support of every component from the air intake to the exhaust after-treatment ensure a totally integrated system. Even the starter and alternator are PACCAR-built for superior performance.

The two-year base warranty covers virtually everything (parts, labor, towing when needed and consumables) with no out-of-pocket cost to you – up to 250,000 miles for the PX-8 and unlimited mileage for the PX-6.
For added security, PACCAR also offers a selection of customized extended coverage plans that provide extra protection for your business against unexpected expenses.
