Download and install Microsoft Web Platform Installer from below link:

o https://www.microsoft.com/web/downloads/platform.aspx

Open Web Platform Installer. And Search for Visual Studio Express 2012:

Select Visual Studio Express 2012 for Web (Latest) and click Add and then click Install:

Installation begins once we accept the Licence Agreement:

After installation Click Continue:

Browser will be opened asking to create free Azure Account. Close the browser and go back to

installation window and click Finish:

Search for VS Express for Web and open:

For the first time we will be asked to Enter Product key. Click Register online. Then from browser

login to your dreamspark uakron account.

After logging into account. We will be asked for details. Select for “Academic Use”.

After submitting details, we will be provided with product key. Copy this product key into VS

Express for Web Application and click Next. Key will be validated. If the application closes open VS

Express for Web Application again.

Goto File -> New Project

In Left Pane, goto Templates -> Visual C# and select Web. In middle pane select ASP.NET MVC4

Web Application. Change Project Name and click OK.

In the next screen select template as Internet Application and view engine as ASPX and click OK:

Wait for Project to be created and click on Launch Windows App to run the newly created Project.

App opens in browser with default pages and functionality.
