A3839066 Boots is a loving four year old tan spayed female Shepherd mix who was deserted at the Downey Animal Care Center on June 26 by her former owners who moved and made no provisions for their dog. Weighing forty-four pounds, Boots walks well on leash and is very cooperative. Super sociable, she adores both people and other dogs, and would probably make a good addition to a multi-dog household. Boots is a playful gal who loves giving kisses, and will make the perfect indoor pet for an active individual or family in any living situation. A3938436 Anastasia is a well-behaved seven year old tricolor spayed female Long Haired Chihuahua who was dumped at the Downey Animal Care Center by her former owners because they moved and made no provision for one of their family members. Weighing fourteen pounds, this gentle girl walks well on leash and knows how to sit on command. With her sweet temperament, she gets along well with other dogs and is good with children. Anastasia is a very attentive and lovely “all-around” dog, and will make a marvelous indoor pet for anyone in any living situation and we think she would be a perfect companion for a senior citizen. A4230776 Pinky is a playful two year old brown spayed female Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix who was abandoned at the Downey Animal Care Center on June 21st. Weighing thirty-eight pounds, she pulls on leash, but was so excited to be out of the kennel with all of us, she couldn’t help herself!
