Country Life Fair April 25-26

Formerly the Herb Festival, we are now hosting our second annual Country Life Fair! The event will be held April 25 and 26, 2015.

This event is an excellent “family fun” activity for kids and adults of all ages. Pomeroy Farm will be selling herb plants and organic vegetable plants, and a variety of ven-dors will be selling their wares. We will have our friendly farm animals out for feeding and petting,

Hours are 10-5 Saturday and 10-5 Sunday. The log house will be open for tours from 11-4 Saturday and 11-4 Sunday. Admission is free.

If you are interested in being a vendor, please contact Pomeroy Farm at [email protected] or 360-686-3537. Vendor fee is $50.00 if booked by April 1, 2014.

Welcome Maura! The Farm is delighted to welcome Maura Todd as our new media relations, IT, office and wed-ding assistant, and whatever else needs done, person. Maura developed a strong background in media while working on school newspapers in high school and at college. She’s also 20 some-thing, so is very comfortable with social media and all the stuff Farmer Bob doesn’t do. She’ll also assist Dan with weddings this summer and will help with the office while Betsy has a baby in late April.

As many of you know, Pomeroy Cellars opened on the Farm grounds last May and the tasting room was dedicat-ed in September. Plans are underway to partner with the winery for some twilight farm tours and tastings. Details are still being worked on, but we hope to offer several events this coming summer. Stay tuned!
