What Students Think?
“If you allow it to, IB can be the extra push you need to become the best possible version of yourself. It helps you look past the football games you may miss or the fun you could be having and leads you to focus on the benefits of hard work and a quality education. It’s an opportunity to grow. That’s what IB is to me.”
- Rachel Owart “A rigorous program that makes kids want to tear their hair out, but we keep at it
because we know in the end, we’ll be set for our future plans in life and be some of the most well-rounded students in the world.”
- Korey Brown “An amazing program that challenges your cognitive skills and helps build reliable
study habits.”
- Sierra Pounds “A family”
- Lydia Sewell “It’s college in High School.” - Emily Johnston

Why Be In IB?
IB Diploma students have higher SAT scores
IB conducted surveys of students on their acceptance rates to various colleges and universities and their scores on the SAT, ACT and AP exams. IB North America received responses from 6,392 candidates from 131 schools in 29 states.
The mean score of 1309 was significantly higher than the average score of the total population (1026). Diploma candidates’ mean score was even higher than the mean score obtained by Certificate candidates.
