What do you like most about it?I enjoy the many trails, the

feeling of community, and being 20 minutes from downtown and the mountains.

I worked in real estate for 4 years in Ohio, including 2 years selling homes for a builder from � oor plans. I have been selling real estate in Colorado since 2000.

What is your specialty and what does that mean for the people you work with?

I am very good at staging and updating homes to bring the best price in the shortest amount of time. I have per-sonally done several � x and � ips and helped many a seller to do the right amount of improvements to make their home pop and bring a higher price. I also have my own staging furniture that I provide free of charge to my seller.

What is the most challenging part of what you do?I take care of many details for my clients. When I have

many homes under contract at the same time, sometimes I � nd it challenging.

What do you most en-joy doing when you are not working?

My husband and I enjoy hiking and ex-ploring new areas, plus

Where were you born?Born and raised in Colorado! I was born in Denver, and grew

up in the same house my father still lives in today. I most enjoyed the huge backyard where we would slip & slide and play croquet.

How long have you lived in the area?My wife, Jamie and I are both 4th generation Colorado natives.

We have lived in the South Denver Metro Area for 12 years. I know the area and real estate market extremely well.

What do you like most about it?We Love Castle Rock, it’s the best place to call home. With

the picturesque sunsets, great neighbors, beautiful weather, and great schools, it is easy to see why Colorado and its cities keep ending up on the lists for best places to live.

How long have you worked in Real Estate?I have been a licensed REALTOR® & Broker Associate for 9

years. I worked full time in real estate from the beginning and started out right when the market was turning south. I worked hard and thrived. In addition from selling real estate, I have worked as a Vice President/Branch Manager in our Castle Pines Branch and I remain engaged in management at our largest of-� ce in the Highlands Ranch branch for RE/MAX Professionals. I have been recognized as 5280 Magazine’s Five Star Real Estate Agent for 2 years running.

What is your specialty and what does that mean for the people you work with?

I work with Buyers, Sellers, and Investors. My clients know that they get a trusted advisor that can guide them thru regular transactions, as well as think outside the box to get them through di� cult transactions such as Short Sales and Bank Owned Properties.

What is the most challenging part of what you do?Particularly in the last 5 years, many people have fall-

en on hard times. Large national banks seem to throw common sense out the window. I have tried to help clients keep their home by getting them in contact with housing

When keeping the home is not an option, I have been able to help them avoid foreclosure thru the di� cult short sale process.

What do you most enjoy doing when you’re not working?My family and I love the mountains. We enjoy going to our

family cabin in Winter Park in all seasons. Don’t get me wrong, Colorado is the best, but our favorite places to get away are Ha-waii and Disney World. You just can’t beat being a kid with your kids.

What is one tip you have for someone looking to sell a house?Hire an experienced local REALTOR® who knows the neigh-
