MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO GAPS OR VOIDS BETWEEN THE SIDES OF THE MATTRESSAND THE BEDRAIL.MAKE SURE THAT MATTRESS HAS BEEN NESTED COMPLETELY IN BETWEEN SUPPORTBRACKETS AND HAS BEEN FULLY PUSHED DOWN AT ALL FOUR BRACKETS.MAKE SURE THAT THE BEDRAIL IS SNUG AGAINST THE MATTRESS. (To do this you canslide your hand between the face of the mattress and the bedrail, resistance should be felt for it to be snug)THE MATTRESS SHOULD SHOW SIGNS OF DEFLECTION AT BOTH ENDS OF THE BEDRAIL. (THIS WILL INDICATE WHETHER THE BED RAIL IS INSTALLED CORRECTLY AND IS A SNUG FIT)

Suffocation and strangulation hazard.Death or serious injury can occur.Infants who can not get in and out of an adult bed without help can be trapped between a mattress and a wall and suffocate.

Bed Rail Use:

Bed rail can trap young children against the mattress, headboard or footboard.Use only for children who have grown out of the crib/cot. NEVER use inplace of a crib/cot.Use only with children who can get in and out of an adult bed withoutany help (Typically 2 years and up).Always keep the bedrail pushed firmly against the mattress and at least9 inches from the headboard and the footboard.Never use on a toddler bed,bunk bed,water bed or a bed with an inflatable mmattress. Use only on an adult bed with mattress.Discontinue use if damaged, broken or if parts are missing.

CARE AND MAINTENANCETo clean the Bed rail:

1. wipe the surface with a damp cloth or sponge using mild liquid soap.2. wipe with clean water.3. let it air dry.

Do not immerse the bed rail in water. Do not disassemble the mesh panelsfor cleaning as this could tear the fabric. Surface wipe only

ASSEMBLING THE MESH PANEL

You should line up the upper frame A with upper frame B, andLower frame C and Lower Frame D. They should flat and nextto each other

Insert the tapered end of Frame A with B. Push in the locking pin fully. Insert theend with the depressed pin into the larger end. The locking pin should popout from the larger end locking Frame A with Frame B.Insert the tapered end of Lower FrameC with D. Push in the locking pin fully.Insert theend with the depressed pin into the larger end. The locking pin should pop out from the larger end locking Lower Frame C with Frame D.Then Strap the material to the velcroto close the joints.

The installed panel should look like this.Repeat for the other panel.

ASSEMBLING THE SIDE ARMS

FRONT

Lay the mesh frame and the mattress arms on a flat surface.Push in the locking pin on mattress arm E and insert the taperedend into the bottom of the mesh frame (next to side of lower frame C) until the pin pops into the opening of the front of the bed frame.Push in the locking pin on mattress arm F and insert the taperedend into the bottom of the mesh frame (next to side of lower frame D) until the pin pops into the opening of the front of the bed frame.Please note one side one side should have the mattress rail with locking pin and the other side should have the mattress rail socketed. Repeat for the other side

POINTOUTWARDS

Place the ends of the clips together located on Mattress Arm E and Mattress arm F. These are used to stabilise the Mattress Arms.Repeat for both ends. The single assembled Bedrails are below.

CONNECTING THE BEDRAILS

This step is critical for the safety and proper assembly of the bed rail. This bed rail Fits most Single, twin, full and queen mattresses.

MATTRESS RAILSIZING RAIL

Place a mattress rail and a sizing rail across the mattressso that bed rails are over each side of the mattress.The holes next to the bottom of the sizing rail are forlarger mattresses such as queen and full beds whilstthe smaller mattresses are closer to the bed rail.

make note of the hole

While holding both rails so that they are snug to thesides of the mattress, make a note of the hole on the sizing rail that best aligns with the locking pin on themattress rail.

Twist the sizing rail so that the locking pin will not pop into any hole. Twist the mattress rail towards the hole asnoted in the previous step until the locking pin popsinto place. Insert the opposite mattress rail into thesizing rail until the locking pin pops into the hole.Check that both rail assemblies are the same length.
