First choose your bracelet. Donna Mia offers bracelets in silver and leather in a variety of colours. This beautifully crafted bead bracelet has a unique patented clasp and threading system. The clasp first closes your bracelet and then blends in to look like the other beads.

The special patented threading system allows the beads to be threaded on and taken off easily. Once the beads have been threaded onto the bracelet, they will not fall off, even when doing or undoing the clasp. You will feel like you have died and gone to fashion heaven, when choosing beads from over 250 different styles.

Chemical agents are a quick, but harsh way to clean your jewellery. We recommend that use of such cleaners be avoided. Especially oxidised silver, gold plating and pearls, which are easily damaged.

Your donna mia jewellery must be carefully handled and cleaned regularly to maintain its beautiful appearance and ensure its longevity.

TARNISHINGEspecially all sterling silver will tarnish over time. But it will happen much faster when it comes into contact with agents such as perfume, salty air, sulphur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine and acidic skin ph. The amount of tarnishing (oxidization) that occurs is dependent on the skin and care habits of the wearer. Tarnishing is therefore not a manufacturing fault.

USING POLISHING CLOTHSA jewellery polishing cloth may be useful, when you need to freshen up your Donna Mia jewellery, as it can sparkle up a dull surface. But be extra gentle when polishing pieces with organic materials like wood, pearls and leather. Only polish the metal part with the cloth. Gold plated charms must not be cleaned with the cloth as the plating may rub off.

CLEANING WITH SOAP AND WATERIf you wish to clean your Donna Mia jewellery more thoroughly at home, add a drop of mild soap to lukewarm water and clean the jewellery with a soft toothbrush. The toothbrush is an excellent tool for jewellery with patterns, which may otherwise be difficult to clean. If a piece of jewellery is very dirty, leave it in lukewarm water with a drop of dishwasher detergent and let it soak for a few minutes.
