WELB DONE & WELeME Well done and welcome...it seems somewhat fitting that as we begin this ffrst edition of DX Flews from T,ouisvil.le, we offer some thanks and ask some assistance. The thanks, of course, goes to the fine folks at ?JPC who managed t o meet the weekly deadlines for publication for the past 111 issues of this magazine. I?hile we in Louisville are just beginning, we realize that getting out such a public- ation for as long as I!JPC has done is no easy task, and we wish to salute the folks i n Rew Jersey who answered the call and did what had to be done for the past few years. But onwird, upward and moving right along, as they say, and that means we're asking for the help and cooperation of every PRC member a s we begin what we hope will be as long and as successful a tenure as Vew Jersey. We ask your patience as we all find our wings for the first few weeks, which may mean overlooking an occasional error or misplaced item. 'Je ask your help in supporting the editors who write the columns which are the bread and butter of the club. Ye ask those out there who have not contributed in the past to do so now. And, we a s k t h o s e who have suggestions and comments to send them along to,us. We hope to be responsive to what you, the membership, wants to see in T'X News, and a t the same time interested i n what you find wrong and overdone. It is our goal to see if we can't further expand the F!RC to include more interested people in the hdbby, while a t the same time we hope to better serve our present members. Yle realize this a l l sounds great and you're likely wonderinp, "what do they have i n mind?" We have some ideas, but the majority of iireas must come from you, the T'Xers who are reading this. ' !le are now working on a "reader survey" which will appear in a i'X Flews s h o r t l y . Bell1 be asking for your opinions of present columns and features and we'll ask for comments on things you think we need to add or take out. Xhile we won't promise to change every little thine, we will use your replies and move from there. DUt this one survey isn't all we're plannine to do--we are also ready to listen and read what you send us in the may of suggestions and comments, and we hope everyone out there will write in. Lot only will it keep our secretary busy for the next six weekends and off the streets, but We'll know what you waat and what we need t o do. So there it 16-the beglnnlng. Where r e go from here is up t o you,our members. Thank you f o r your confidence in T.oulsrille--we hope to justify it! -UTE TEST-Tuesday, April 12-KDUZ4260- Hutchinson, h. 0200.0230 (%it).
