Eternal Father, strong to save,Whose arm hath bound the restless wave,
Who bidd'st the mighty ocean deepIts own appointed limits keep;
Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee,For those in peril on the sea!
O Christ! Whose voice the waters heardAnd hushed their raging at Thy word,Who walked'st on the foaming deep,And calm amidst its rage didst sleep;
Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee,For those in peril on the sea!
Most Holy Spirit! Who didst broodUpon the chaos dark and rude,And bid its angry tumult cease,
And give, for wild confusion, peace;Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee,
For those in peril on the sea!
O Trinity of love and power!Our brethren shield in danger's hour; From rock and tempest, fire and foe,
Protect them wheresoe'er they go;Thus evermore shall rise to Thee
Glad hymns of praise from land and sea.

THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day
our daily bread.
And forgive us
our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us
not into temptation,
but deliver us
from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory, forever.
Amen.
TWENTY THIRD PSALM
The LORD is my Shepherd;I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down ingreen pastures: He leadeth me
beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadethme in the paths of righteousness for
his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through thevalley of the shadow of death, I will
fear no evil: for thou art with me: thyrod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before mein the presence of mine enemies:thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shallfollow me all the days of my life: and
I will dwell in the houseof the LORD forever.
