ALL AGES (0-6 years)
Family Time is for parents, caregivers and their children to meet others and play interac-tively in an early learning environment. The program will include arts, crafts, music, pre-
reading and math concepts.
Open Door is a chance for families to use the playroom and resources in our stimulating, interactive, early-learning environment. Staff are available to support early-learning.
Screening Clinic: A one-day workshop for families to meet with professionals from Toronto Public Health to discuss health, dental and nutrition concerns.
Friday June 9, 2017 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the Main Site
Run, Explore & Learn Outdoor: Come and join us for fun outdoors. The program will not run in rain, high humidity or heat alerts. Please call the centre for more information.
Remember to wear sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and bring water! Located at 80 Parkway Forest Drive (Don Mills Rd. & Sheppard Ave.)
AGE SPECIFIC PROGRAMS
Babies In Playland (0 - 18 months): This program focuses on babies’ early development. It provides parents and caregivers learning opportunities on infant development through
social and interactive play.
Tot Stop (18 - 30 months): This program focuses on toddlers’ development through play. The program includes arts and crafts, sensory activities, songs and rhymes.
Story time & More/Fit & Fun (18 months - 5 years): This program focuses on a story each week, enhanced through dramatic and creative activities. Fit and Fun focuses on
basic physical activity skills. The program includes warm-up and cool-down, exercises from the Rainbow Fun program, musical movements and games.
Preschool Fun With Learning (30 months - 5 years): This program provides parents, caregivers and their children opportunities to learn while they play. Activities include pre-
reading, math concepts, games, puzzles, creative and sensory activities.
Pre-registered Programs - pre-registration can be done in person or by phone on the registration date. Building Toddler Language (18 - 30 months): This is an interactive program for tod-dlers. You and your child will participate in songs, rhymes, stories and small group activi-ties. This program will build on your toddlers growing language development.
Fun with Literacy (3 - 6 years): Parents and caregivers will engage in group discussions while their child participates in activities led by a Program Facilitator. The activities will include: letter recognition, storytelling, drawing, rhymes and singing.
Cooking to Learn (3 - 6 years): Children with their parents will have fun making simple, creative and nutritious snacks. The children will be introduced to pre-reading and math concepts.
Let’s Create (3-6 years): This program will encourage children to explore their creative and imaginary skills. Children will use their decision making skills to decide what to make and how to make it.
Learning Through Play (3 - 6 years): A variety of activities will be prepared on a weekly basis that will incorporate pre-reading, writing, math, concepts, sensory, arts and crafts and music and movement. This program will enhance social skills as children play inter-actively and participate in group activities.
Sweet Signs (9 - 24 months): Sign language can reduce frustration, heighten verbal de-velopment and strengthen communication skills. This four-week program will introduce parents, caregivers and their children to American Sign Language.
Family Move & Groove (New parents with their infants 6 - 12 months): Join us for an hour of fun as you move and dance with your baby. This program will teach you the basics of dancing, allow you to build a bond with your baby and have fun together as a family.
School Readiness (For children starting school in September): This program is designed to prepare children and their parent/caregiver for successful entry into the school system. The objective is to enhance children’s reading, writing, math and social skills before they start Kindergarten in September. Parkway Forest Satellite: July 6 - 27, 2017 & Main Site:

Infant Hearing Clinic: The Infant Hearing Program comes every Friday to test newborns who were not screened at birth or those who need a follow-up. Please call 416-338-8255 for an appointment.
