1. Describe present process / product:
All devices in the family of Primax5.
2. Product type affected:
All devices in the family of Primax5; NSW-XXX, NTVV-XXX and NTUU-XXX
3. Describe changes (to be):
Propose to change from current 8 mm pitch per unit currently to 4 mm pitch per
unit. The tape thickness will also be changed from 0.28 mm to 0.20 mm. Quantity
per reel for the 180mm diameter reel will increase from 1000 pcs to 2000 pcs. All
other carrier tape dimensions and material remain the same.
4. Reason for change:
The increase in the qty per reel will improve productivity during surface mounting
process.
5. Target conversion date:
Samples with new carrier tape will be available upon request.
New carrier tape will be used for manufacturing for lots taped beginning of Sept. 1st 2011.
