Rate quotes are subject to surcharges valid at time of shipment. Applicable surcharges can be verified through charge finder at: http://www.cma-cgm.com/ebusiness/tarrifs/charge-finder
The application date of ranges and charges is determined by cargo receipt date of the last container for imports and by sailing date for exports.
Any U.S. origin business is subject to FMC rules. If you need guidance on these rules please contact your sales associate in charge.
Please confirm the acceptance of rate offers to the above listed email addresses prior to placing bookings. This way we can ensure your rate properly filed in our system.
Rates to and from the United States are also subject to FMC filing which can take 24 to 48hours

Please ensure that complete and accurate information is provided in booking requests via e-mail, in particular commodity description, HS code, equipment type and number of containers, origin/destination, weight, intended time of shipment, place of payment for freight, temperature and vent settings for reefers, dangerous goods details for hazmat bookings, dimensions and weight for overdimensional cargo. If available please mention your rate quotation reference.

The same procedure applies if you are planning to street-turn import equipment.

Export customs inspections
For cargo held for inspection by CBSA all extra handling costs depending on the type of inspection plus an administration fee will be invoiced to the booking party. Please note that demurrage free time continues to count while containers are under customs hold or inspection.
