Pre-course The pre-course phase aims to facilitate a better understanding of the course subject and is comprised of the following:
Pre-course evaluation - establish personal learning objectives for the training through a short quiz to acknowledge the current level of knowledge and for sharing expectations;
Benchmarking testimonials - become familiar with experts’ opinions in this area;
Guidance and schedule - examine a document presenting guidelines on how to maximize your learning experience, by using all the resources offered, as well as a recommended learning schedule, in order to ensure an efficient educational program;
Prerequisite reading - analyze useful benchmarking materials.
Core course The “Certified Benchmarking Professional” training provides an interactive practice-based learning environment in which participants focus on:
Analyzing how to ensure a successful benchmarking study by following a well-defined process, selecting the benchmarking partners accordingly and implementing a logical framework for data analysis in order to identify performance gaps;
Examining practical insights for developing a benchmarking plan, along with aspects pertaining to the assessment of data collection and governance, data analysis process and benchmarking best practices;
Gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in benchmarking research, which will enable them to start a benchmarking implementation project in their own organization.
After-course The after-course phase aims to facilitate a better understanding of the course subject and it is comprised out of the following:
Applied Benchmarking – submit an action plan to state the changes you intend to make in your organization, 3 days after the training course;
Benchmarking best practices sharing - submit a PowerPoint presentation that you will deliver for your colleagues on key topics covered during the core course, 3 weeks after the training course;
Results presentation – submit a document containing the results achieved by following the action plan, 4 months after the course.
At the end of the training course, after successfully completing a certification exam, participants have the opportunity to obtain the Certified Benchmarking Professional status, a premier global certification dedicated to rigorous benchmarking practice.
Participants will take a final test that is composed out of 75 questions. In order to receive the diploma that acknowledges their competencies in the field, participants must obtain at least 50 points.

Andrada is Senior Benchmarking Specialist and certified trainer within The KPI Institute.
Andrada is coordinating the Benchmarking capability of The KPI Institute and is responsible for the first benchmarking project of the company, which seeks to provide a comparative analysis of the hospitals’ performance in the GCC States. Moreover, she is in charge with developing and delivering courses both on Benchmarking and Cross-cultural Management, and research activities which involve documenting KPIs in various functional areas and industries. Andrada is also one of the active editors of the Performance Magazine, publishing articles in the field of performance management.
Her work experience acquired in consulting and account management significantly improved her communication and negotiation capabilities. Also, as an employee of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty Munich, she developed project management skills and acknowledged the importance of cultural differences management in a multinational with a diverse working environment.
Andrada is also a PhD candidate in Engineering and Management and discovered her passion for research during her Masters studies at the Technical University of Munich, where she obtained a degree of Master of Science in Consumer Affairs and conducted various research on behavioral marketing, strategy and leadership.
She is internationally certified in working with KPIs and regularly attends international conferences, where she publishes research articles in management field. She is also a seminar lecturer of Human Resources Management and successfully completed the Master Trainer Program facilitated by The Association for Talent Development (ATD).

Registration cancellation procedure
Any withdrawals have to be announced at least two weeks before the beginning of the course, through fax or e-mail. In this situation, the attendance fee will be refunded, less $400 retained for administrative expenditure.
The attendance fee will not be refunded if the withdrawal from the course takes place less than 2 weeks before its start date. If you find yourself in the impossibility to attend the course after the registration process is already completed you may delegate another person to attend the course in your place without any further fees charged. If you have confirmed and made the attendance fee payment but you didn’t attend the course, the course attendance fee will not be refunded.
If you attend the course only partially (one day or a limited number of sessions), you will not benefit from any attendance fee reduction or refund.
