Yellow Lab- GordonGordon is an extremely friendly

dog. He is a Yellow Lab Mix. He is 4 and a half years old. Gordon loves to go to Central Park and run without his leash with his owner.

Yellow lab facts: A yellow lab is a friendly, working companion that also happens to be America’s most popular breed. Yellow labs can also be search dogs, rescue dogs and assistance dogs. A yellow lab is a loyal, kind and caring friend. It is a muscular, athletic dog with a lot of energy. They originate from the island of Newfoundland and were given the nickname “Saint John’s Dog” because of the capital of Newfoundland. Yellow labs have such a sweet disposition that people say that they would be terrible watchdogs. Yellow labs are excellent therapy dogs and are extremely obedient and smart.

Yellow Lab- Tubby

Tubby is a jumpy and friendly dog. He is a Yellow Lab. He is 4 years old. Tubby loves to play ball in Central Park. His owner tells me, “He would do it all day if I didn’t have a job.”

Snorkie- Ollie

Ollie is a jumpy dog. He is a mutt from the shelter. The owners weren’t sure what type of dog he was but they guessed

after some research that Ollie is a Yorkie

with a little schnauzer in him. He is 2 years old. Ollie

also loves to go Central Park.

Snorkie facts: Snorkies are sweet,

fun-loving well-behaved, intelligent dogs. Snorkies have

a wonderful disposition that allows them to

enjoy and interact with people.

Snorkies love to play, do tricks and learn new tricks.

Snorkies have small floppy ears, a thin body and a silky

coat. Snorkies have good health, can live 15 years and can produce 5-10 pups in their life.

 

Wheaten Terrier- FinnyWheaten Terrier Facts: Wheaten Terriers are fun, loving, friendly and easygoing dogs. Wheaten Terriers enjoy kids, walks, hikes and competing in the sport agility. Wheaten Terriers require grooming and exercise in order to stay healthy. They also need attention to stay happy. Wheaten Terriers are originated from Ireland as a versatile farm dog but adapt into most homes. Though they can be a pain to train, they are still great dogs. Wheaten Terriers always give a warm welcome when you get home because they love you so much. 

Finny is a playful and well behaved dog. He is a Wheaten Terrier and 8 years old. Finny likes to take walks in the city with his owner, likes to go to the park and to the beach. At the beach, Finny would run right up to the water and would stop at the shore. ”He is the friendliest, sweetest dog.”-said from the owner.

Australian Labradoodle- Ziggy

Ziggy is a sleepy and stubborn dog. She is an Australian Labradoodle. She is 3 years old. Ziggy loves to go to the park to play fetch. She also loves snow. When she encounters snow, she puts her head inside the snow and takes it out. They also Loves to lay down and sleep in.

Australian Labradoodle Facts: Australian Labradoodles are clever, sociable, joyful, active and comical dogs. They are good with children, get along with other dogs and because they are quick learners. They live from 14-15 years. The biggest things I see in an Australian Labradoodle is that they are friendly and loyal. When you're thinking about getting a dog, Australian Labradoodles are completely harmless.

King Charles Cavalier Spaniel- Jake

King Charles Cavalier Spaniel facts: The King Charles Cavalier Spaniel is an intelligent, great companion. They are originated from England. They have a sporty background so they compete in sports like obedience, flyball and agility. They love belly rubs, hunting birds, enjoy hikes and loves running along the beach. They need positive reinforcement and rewards in order to motivate them. They have a soft personality. People came up with the name “Top Tail Wager” because they wag there tails so much.

King Charles Cavalier Spaniel- Jake

Jake is a jumpy, friendly dog who likes to lick others! He is a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. He is 6 years old. Jake loves to cuddle, sit on people’s laps and chase birds. He is very kind and loyal.

Shih Tzu's- DeeDee and Murphy

The next owner I met had two dogs. One of them was DeeDee. She is a Blonde Schitzu. She is 5 years old. DeeDee is sensitive and shy. The other dog is Murphy. He is a Black Schitzu. He is 2 years old. Murphy likes to be the leader and the first at everything. He had been abused by his previous owner and his present owner found him in a shelter and rescued him. They both like to run in their hallway and run after balls, especially in the winter time when it’s to cold to go outside. They like to go on long walks especially in the park.

Shih Tzu facts: A Shih Tzu is affectionate, happy, beautiful, friendly, lively and a devoted companion. Shih Tzu’s are great with children and other animals, which makes them extremely adaptable to their surroundings. Although they may appear like “snobbish and suited for only lying on a coach in a palace with silk pillows”, they are extremely well trained athletic dogs.  

Boston Terrier- MichelleBoston Terrier Facts: The Boston Terrier is a gentle, affectionate, loving, intelligent and lively dog. Overall, they have a sweet nature except when they are stubborn. Originally, the Boston Terrier was supposed to be a fighter dog but as it turns out, they are sweet, harmless dogs. They are an extremely popular breed and were created about a century ago. They have a muscular body, large ears, a thin coat, big eyes, a flat-nosed face and a short tail. The Boston Terrier got its name “American Gentleman” because of the tuxedo-like markings on their body.  

Michelle is a very well behaved dog. She is a Boston Terrier. She Is 11 years old. Michelle likes to go everywhere he goes, to restaurants and to stores. She also likes to go to the park.

Norfolk Terrier- Lucky

Lucky is a friendly, cuddly, soft and good boy. He is a Norfolk Terrier. He is 8 years old. Lucky loves to go to the park early in the morning to run around off his leash.  Norfolk Terrier Facts: The Norfolk Terrier is an alert, loyal, fearless, affectionate, independent, charming and cute companion. They are normally happy and don’t bark daily but occasionally they get moody. They love to run around freely. In order to stay healthy and happy, they need exercise and plenty of toys to keep them occupied. They are very uncommon in the U.S. They are strong individuals and come up to 9-10 inches in height.

French Bulldog- OliverFrench Bulldog

Facts: French Bulldogs are

easygoing, intelligent, playful, loving, gentle natured dogs. They

are great companions to humans. French Bulldogs are free

thinkers and quick witted. They are extremely smart.

French Bulldogs get along with everyone

and are pretty easy to train. French Bulldogs

are excellent watchdogs. They alert

immediately after they see something weird or someone strange. French Bulldogs are so

protective that they would give their life

for you!!!

Oliver is a friendly dog. He loves people. He is 2 and a half years old. Oliver loves to have his

belly rubbed, he loves to run on grass, and he “loves the camera.”
