LocationDodecote Grange lies just 7 miles north west of the market town of Newport. Newport has excellent amenities including a Waitrose, a vast array of local shops, a regular market and fantastic educational institutions to include Adams Grammar School and the Newport School for Girls. Harper Adams University College is found nearby. The larger centres of Stafford, Telford and the West Midlands offer good rail links and the M6 (Junction 14) is approximately 20 miles away, providing access to Birmingham, Manchester and beyond. HistoryDodecote Estates recorded history dates back to 1130, during the reign of King Henry I, when the Cistercian monks of Combermere Abbey received the Estate from William FitzAlan. 12th century pottery unearthed around the Estate is all that remains of the monks’ time here.

DevelopmentThe development has been designed to retain many of the original features that these beautiful and historic barns have to offer. DirectionsFrom Shrewsbury: Take the B5062 towards Newport. Continue along this road into High Ercall. Upon reaching the TJunction with the Cleveland Arms, turn right continuing towards Newport. At the island, take the first exit sign posted to Newport and Cruddington continuing on the B5062. At the crossroads in Crudington, take the left hand turning sign posted for Whitchurch (A442). After a short distance take the right hand turning just after The Lion Inn. Proceed along this road, taking the left hand turning just after the bus stop, signposted for Eaton Upon Tern and Childs Ercall. Continue along this road to Eaton Upon Tern. Shortly after leaving the village, turn right sign posted to Childs Ercall. Upon reaching the TJunction turn right again continue on this road for approximately 1 mile before turning left on to Dodecote Road. Dodecote Barns can be found at the end of the road.

From Newport: Proceed North West on the A41. Continue along this road for approximately 5.5 miles before taking the left hand turning signposted for Childs Ercall. After a short distance, take the right hand turning signposted for Childs Ercall and Ollerton. Proceed along this road for just under a mile before taking the turning left. Dodecote Barns can be found at the end of the road.
