Project Instructions:
1. Complete the tasks for each dodecahedron panel.
2. Cut out each panel along the circle (not the pentagon)
3. Fold along each line of the pentagon within the circle
4. Glue together the flaps of each panel
5. Punch a hole in one of the flaps and hang up for others to
see.
****This can be used with any nonfiction novel.***
Panel #1: Title of the book, the author, and your name
Panel #2: Picture of the book cover (it can be drawn or printed from the computer).
Panel #3: Setting (Draw the setting and write one or two sentences about the scene).
Panel #4: Theme (State the theme and draw a picture of a scene from the book
depicting the theme).
Panel #5: Main Character (Draw one of the main characters and write one or two
sentences about their character traits.
Panel #6: Main Character (Draw one of the main characters and write one or two
sentences about their character traits.
Panel #7: Main Character (Draw one of the main characters and write one or two
sentences about their character traits.
Panel #8: Vocabulary Words: Write two vocabulary words and their meanings. You may
include a picture to depict each vocabulary word.
Panel #9: Vocabulary Words: Write two vocabulary words and their meanings. You may
include a picture to depict each vocabulary word.
Panel #10: Give a brief summary about the plot of the book. Be sure not to tell the
ending (just in case another reader has not finished the book).
Panel #11: Write three or four sentences about your favorite part of the book. Draw a
picture of your favorite part.
Panel #12: Rating: Rate the book with 1 to 5 stars. 1 star indicates the lowest rating and 5
indicates the highest rating. Be sure to explain why you gave the amount of stars.
