W E L C O M E!Our Art Docent Program is an in-class volunteer opportunity that helps expose students to the wonderful world of ART. Our program does not

require an art background to be an active participant. Art Docents are expected to follow lesson plans, work as a team and share their enthusiasm for art within the classroom.

1. Training is required for all-new volunteers joining our program.

2. Returning docents are encouraged to attend as program changes and developments happen year-to-year.

3. Yes! Younger siblings may attend with you. Please bring something for them to play with while we meet.

4. We will meet for up to an 1-hour but never over.

5. We will discuss: How to set-up a classroom in September, closet & lesson procedures, lesson management tips and supply preparations.

DATE: Thursday, Sept. 27TIME: 5:30-6:30 PM PLACE: MPS room is our gym – do enter to the left of the main office doors, down steps to lower level door.

DATE: Friday, Sept. 28TIME: 9:00-10:00 AMPLACE: 1st gr. Wing (end of hall by big window).
