In clause 8.2A.7.6.2c, Change the following text,— The numerically greater of the two drops the received Commit Message, shall set the t0 (retransmission) timer and remain in Committed state.— The numerically lesser of the two zeros Sync, shall increment Sc, choose the group from the received Commit Message generate a new Commit Message and Confirm Message, and shall transmit the new Commit and Confirm to the peer. It shall then transition to Confirmed state. To the following, — The numerically greater of the two MAC addresses drops the received Commit Message, shall set the t0 (retransmission) timer and remain in Committed state.— The numerically lesser of the two MAC addresses zeros Sync, shall increment Sc, choose the group from the received Commit Message generate a new Commit Message and Confirm Message, and shall transmit the new Commit and Confirm to the peer. It shall then transition to Confirmed state.

Comment Dee: Not clear whether MAC addresses can do all that

In Clause 11C.13.6 change

“The group addressed frames whose source address equals to the known portal address shall be transmitted at last in group addressed frames.”

to  “The group addressed frames whose source address equals to the known

portal address shall be the last transmitted group addressed frames.”

Or

“Group addressed frames with source address equal to the known portal

address shall be the last transmitted group addressed frames.”

Naming of IEs (via correspondance with Kaz

To be consistent with the baseline we use

• ERP information element

• RSN Information element

However, we should use “MIC element” rather than “MIC information element”, as this is a new element (?) This also entails changes in Clause 7.3.2.115

Some trivial stuff

• Capitalization in Clause headers• 7.1.3.1 Frame control field -> Frame Control field

• 7.2.1 Control Frmaes -> Control frames

• 7.2.3.15 Multihop Action Frame format -> Multihop Action frame format

• 8.2A Authentication Using a Pre-Shared Secret -> Authentication using a pre-shared secret

• 8.4.1.2 (see baseline)

• 11C.13.5 TIM transmissions in MBSS -> TIM transmissions in an MBSS

• 11C.13.10 Peer service period -> Peer Service Periods

• 11C.13.10.2-4 the Peer Service Period -> a Peer Service Period

Further trivial stuff

Via Donald: Second paragraph before section header 7.2: change toThis is useful, for example, when the end points of IEEE 802

communication are non-mesh, external STAs that communicate over a mesh via proxy mesh STAs.

Deleting “in case” before “when”

• 9.9.1.7 Truncation of TXOP -> Truncation of TXOPs
