changes starting this Fall.

The Graduate Success Specialist’s Office has Moved!

1. Expanded weekend hours. We will open at 9 am on Saturdays and Sundays and close at 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, beginning on August 30. We continue to operate from 7:30 am to 2 am on weekdays.

2. No charges for any interlibrary loan, even if the lending library charges us. There are also no limits on the number of loans you can request.

3. As a graduate student, your personal librarian is Marie Jones. She’s your first point of contact for all things Sherrod.

4. If you are enrolled in the research stage of your degree, you may be eligible for an as-signed study in the library (subject to availability).

5. The Media Center, formerly on the 3rd floor of Sherrod, has closed. All DVDs, CDs, and anatomy models formerly housed there are now available through the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor.

6. The Information (formerly Reference) Desk has moved to a new location on the first floor near the Special Services room.

7. Two new library partners now reside in Sherrod: QEP Director Amy Johnson in Sher-rod 451, and Graduate Student Success Specialist in 462.

8. Many library staff and faculty offices have relocated within the building. If you have questions about where to find someone or whom to call for a particular question, please contact Sherrod Library reference or administration.

I hope everyone has a great, productive year !September 2013Volume 3 Issue [email protected] Perry, MSW Intern(423) 439-7062
