2015 Mustang to Debut in December
The long wait will soon be over.
Contrary to previous reports, it appears Mustang fanboys won’t have to wait long to feast their eyes on the next-generation 2015 Ford Mustang, with Reuters reporting the car will have a formal debut in December. Ahead of that, a select few automotive writers have been invited to Ford’s Dearborn headquarters this week for a sneak peak of the new Stang on the condition that no details are revealed. However, with embargoes routinely broken, don’t be surprised if photos and details are leaked ahead of schedule.

With the Holidays approaching soon, I would like to thank everyone for a great year. We had an awesome Car Show when times are tough. Membership continues to grow and this is due to all of the great members we have in the club. Please take some time with your family and friends and enjoy the holidays together. Safety MomentDuring the summer we have to worry about skin cancer and during the winter we have to be concerned about Frostbite. With Colorado weather and winter activities, we also need to worry about skin cancer. Just be careful and keep yourself protected. It is also very important that you keep your children protected with sunscreen. Getting bad sunburns as a child can set you up for skin cancer as an adult.

Steve Strope describes his late-sixties Mustang as loud and fast art. Petrolicious was therefore keen to make it the center of its latest production, which showcases the Mustang enthusiast's dedication to creating his vision of the perfect fastback Stang. It’s artistic nature lies not only in the exquisitely applied Martini livery, but the fact there always seems something new to look at. Power and noise comes from a 1966 Ford/Lotus Indy Car motor and there are show car touches to be found both inside and out.Nothing on the car has been left untouched, and the result is spectacular.

The Ford versus Ferrari rival of the sixties is filled with Hollywood drama.20th Century Fox is planning a movie based on the book “Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari, and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans” written by A. J. Baime. No deals are yet in place, but Tom Cruise is eyeing a starring role as Carroll Shelby and will reunite with director Joseph Kosinski after their recent success with “Oblivion.” The book follows Henry Ford II who, after failing with an attempt to buy Ferrari, went all out to beat Enzo at Le Mans where the carmaker had dominated for years.
With the help of Lee Iacocca and Carroll Shelby, Ford designed, built and raced the legendary Ford GT40 to four successive victories at the world’s most prestigious race course. The movie is in the early stages of development, but Fox is keen to start shooting next year. Whether they are given the right to film at Le Mans remains to be seen.
