MOUNTING & INSTALLATIONPlace selection:Since the sensor responds to temperature changes, please avoid followingconditions:- Avoid aiming the sensor towards areas or objects whose surfaces are highly reflective (e.g.: mirrors).- Avoid mounting the sensor near heat sources, such as heating vents, air conditioners, dryers, vents or lights.- Avoid aiming the sensor towards objects which may move by wind, such as curtains, trees or bushes,...Mounting:
CAUTION: · Installation and assembly of electrical equipments must be carried out by qualified electricians. · Disconnect power supply before installing.
1º - Unscrew the plastic screw nut, turning it counterclockwise, and remove the cover
2º - Insert the cables through the rubber ring in the base and connect them to the terminal strip
3º - Fix the base to the selected position with the 3 supplied screws
4º - Adjust the time delay (TIME) and brightness (LUX) to the desired values
5º - Refit the plastic cover and lock it with plastic screw nut, turning it clockwise

DESCRIPTIONLED light with built-in PIR movement detector.Infrared detection technology, which is activated by detecting movement of people, or other heat sources, within its coverage area. After the LED light is activated, it will remain on for the delay time set since the last detection. This time is reset every time a new movement is detected. In addition, it incorporates brightness sensor, which can limit the activation of the LED light to the natural light existing at every moment of the day.
6º - Switch the power on. If the TIME knob is set at position (-) the LED light will be switched-on for 60 seconds. Then, the sensor enters into automatic working mode

SETTINGSThe values of Brightness and Time can be adjusted using thepotentiometers incorporated in the sensor.Set the 'LUX' and 'TIME' control knobs to the desired values:Brightness level adjustment (LUX)· Its function is to set the maximum brightness value, below which the detector will switch the lighting on when motion is detected.· The user can set this value according to his requirements, between 5 and 2000 Lux. · If the knob is set to " " the detector will only operate in the dark at night (in case there is insufficient natural light).· If the knob is set to " " the detector will work with any level of light, both day and night.

WORKING TESTTo perform the working test, set the parameters as follows: · TIME: set this knob to the minimum (-). In this way, whenever a movement is detected, the LED light will be switched up for a few seconds and will turn off if, during the course of this time, it does not detect any other movement. · LUX: set this potentiometer to " ". In this way, the sensor will detect any movement, regardless of the brightness. After checking the correct functioning of the device, set the potentiometers to the desired values.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Possible cause Suggested solution
The LED lightdoes not turnon
Mains switched off Switch mains on
Wrong wiringCheck the connections and follow the wiring diagram of the instructions
LUX set incorrectly Check this parameter
The LED lightdoes not turnoff
The time delay is set too long
Decrease the time delay using the TIME knob
The detector is triggered undesirably
Keep out of the coverage area to avoid false detections
Undesiredactivations
Heat sources, air currents, highly reflective surfaces or objects that move due to the wind
Avoid directing the detector to heat sources, such as air conditioners, fans, radiators.Make sure there are no objects that move with the wind
Time delay adjustment (TIME)· Sets the time the load will be on after detecting movement.· This time delay can be set between 10sec (±5sec) and 6min (±2min).· After the first detection, the time will be reset, and the timer will start again, whenever a new movement is detected.
The motion detector is more sensitive to transversal movements than to direct movements. Keep this in mind when locating the device.
