Charley· Wiseman, age 105, died Sunday. January 1 O, 1988 at the Eaton County Extended Care Facility in Charlotte. Mr. Wiseman had lived at 4543 Whittum Rd., Eaton Rapids for 95 yrs. Born October 24, 1882 in Lenawee County nearTipton, Ml, son of John and Eliza {Boyce) Wiseman both of England. He was married March 28, 1914 to Gertrude Walworth who preceded him in death on August 23, 1959. They had a daughter Thelma Maxine Wiseman born November 18, 1917 who later married Lyness· E. Porter and had 2 children, shediedJuly15,1964. -

Surviving are grand­children: Joanne Miller of Lansing, Bruce and Sandy Porter of Eaton Rapids, 4 great-grandchildren; Angela and Lisa Miller of Lansing and Holly and Tracy Porter of Eaton Rapids, sister Harriet Smith age 103 of Eaton, Ohio, . several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held· today, Tuesday, January 12 at 2:00 p.rn. from the Skinner Chapel with the Rev. Paul Mergener of­ficiating. Interment follows in .Oakwood Cemetery on the Wiseman family plot. Casket bearers are: Wayne and Glen Wiseman, Horace and Jim Whittum, Alfred Walworth and Roger Kikendall.

Point Hwy., Eaton Rapids, age 66, died Saturday, January 9, 1988 at the Eaton Rapids Community Hospital. She was born July 12, 1921 in Regina, Saskatchewan, a daughter of Joseph and Rosella {Luster) Andreas.

Surviving are her hus­band, Howard; 2 brothers, John Andreas of Eaton Rapids and Daniel Andreas of Onondaga; 1 sister Katherine Andreas of Onondaga and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were conducted at Rosehill Cemetery, Monday, January 11 at 1 p.rn. The Rev. Allen Cobb officiated. Casket bearers were George Pettit, Gale Shumaker, David Broad, Howard Umbarger, Thomas Hansen and Gerald Gruber. Memorial contribu­tions may be· made to 'the Eaton Rapids Community Hospital. Arrangements were by the Shelly Funeral Horne.

Comer had served as Minister at the Five Corners Chl!rCh for about 13 years before leaving to serve Chur­ches at Hope: Ml; Fair­mount, IN; Kendallville, IN; Akron, IN and Terre Haute, IN. She returned to the Charlotte area about 5 years ago. She had received her Ministerial training at Ander­son University, Anderson, IN ..
