DIY Calibration Of Containers Materials-
A bottle (not marked)
Masking tape A bucket of water 100 mls or 200 ml cups A litre or 500 ml jug Pencil
Permanent marker Paper towel
Method
1. Get an unmarked bottle and put the masking tape on top on
one side to the bottom on the same side. 2. With a litre or 500 ml jug, (marked) fill it up with the bucket of
water and make sure it is precise to what measurement you want.
3. Pour the water into the bottle into the 100 ml or 200 ml cup and make sure it is exactly right.
4. If it is, pour it into the bottle and mark lightly with a pencil. Pour it back to the 100 ml or 200 ml cup to double check it’s right. If it is, pour into the bottle and mark with a permanent marker and add the mls.
5. Keep on going and if it is more than 200 mls, use the litre jug. With the paper towel, wipe the masking tape just in case it falls off. Also wipe the work spot that the bottle’s been on. Now there should be a marked bottle or container with water inside.
TIPS
Mark the bottle skip counting not 100, 100, 100 do 100, 200,300. When it is finished pour the water to the plants.
