Editor’s note: This is not your traditional business meeting.
The business gets taken care of but we really have a good
time of visiting and getting to know each other better. Last
month at Red Lobster in Vestavia we had a great crowd.
Hope to see you this month. Steve Owen our activity direc-
tor is doing a great job of picking nice places to meet but we
do need everyone’s support since some of these nicer places
have a minimum number to reserve a private area.—Wayne

Welcome to the following new members for February 2015:
Bob & Fran Conrad from Mountain Brook, Bobby Hyde
from Pelham and Doug Phillips from Hoover. We had a
great turn out for February after two straight months of bad
weather on our cruise-in day. We hope you were able to
meet several of the members and begin feeling at home.

We encourage each of our members to own and wear a
name tag. We really do want to get to know you. The cost of
the name tag is $10.00. Payment in cash at the time of plac-
ing the order is re-
quired. Orders for
name tags are taken at
the first Saturday
cruise in at Krispy
Kreme. Orders placed
this month will be
available for pickup
the next month at
Krispy Kreme. You can look for Bob’s black 1968 Ford
F250 at the Cruise In or contact him by phone at 205-504-

can be done at the tent.

February’s Business
Meeting
On Monday, February 9th we met for the monthly business
meeting at the Red Lobster in Vestavia. Thanks to Steve
Owens it was red carpet all the way. The food was great, the
fellowship was enhanced by our rearranging the tables to
allow most people to face each other, we got some business
done and I believe that a good time was had by all.
We had Mollie Hester representing Travelers Aid Society to
speak to us. She discussed the agency and the wide range or
services they provide to the needy. This is the agency that
receives the proceeds of our annual Car Show in April.
Check the front page for this month’s meeting location. We
hope you can be there.

FEBRUARY 2015—KK CRUISE-IN
After two months of very “Un-Alabama Like” weather we finally caught a break. YEA!! What a great turn out it was too! New
members, lots of cars, shirt sleeve weather, that big bright yellow thing in the sky and lots of good ole friends. There’s no way I can
show all the pictures I took. Here are just a few to get you ready for next month. See you on March 7.
