Divine Light members participated
in two service projects on the same day. Some members traveled to Wakulla County to volunteer with Healthy Start Coalition at their "Chat and Chew" event aimed to educate the community and decrease the number of families placing their ba-bies in an unsafe sleep environment and increase positive health behav-iors. While other members volunteered in Tallahassee at Ahmed Court #134's 5th Annual Community Service Day at the Lincoln Neighborhood Center where the homeless community were provided with free clothing, shoes, toiletries, food and health services.

It is so easy to get caught
up in our day to day activi-
ties and constant meetings.
We can easily lose that
personal connection, it is
for this reason the sisters
come together once a
month for dinner and fel-
lowship. It is truly a time
to love on one another.

We know there’s a special place in every member’s heart for the chapter — a true love. Every member rec-
ognizes they are apart of something much bigger than themselves. What better way to honor the legacy and
protect the future of our beloved chapter than giving back?
Through the love and support of our members we are able to provide scholarships and community service to
our Tallahassee community.
Whether its $1, $100, a gift card or decorations your support makes a difference. To make a financial dona-
