Ditto Music 2013 Austin Showcase: Rules

Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16, Austins Eye in the SkyCollective and Ditto Music will take over Shiners Saloon in the

heart of downtown Austin for the third annual Future of MusicShowcase, an unofficial party happening during SXSW presentedin partnership with T. Cannon Media, ATX Music Mag, Moth toFlame Films and Push Music. Food and drink will be provided.

Featuring bands playing from noon-2am each day, this yearslineup highlights rising Texas stars like Shakey Graves and TheTontons with a selectively curated mix of acts ranging fromChicago hip-hop to Danish psychedelic folk. It will also feature aspecial performance from the legendary BP Fallon and the Bandits

(Third Man Records), featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Famers ScottAsheton (The Stooges), Clem Burke (Blondie), and Nigel Harrison(Blondie). More headliners will be announced in the comingweeks. See below for a list of confirmed acts so far.

Previous performers have since performed on Jimmy Kimmel Liveand Anthony Bourdains No Reservations, been featured onMTVs Buzzworthy and NPR Music and topped the popularitylists of Hype Machine and Reddit.

Ditto Music showcase winners will have the choice of a premiumFriday OR Saturday night slot.Full back line and rider will be provided.Free alcoholic beverages and food are provided to bands andindustry guests for the duration of the showcase.Competition winners will be given $500 towards travel expenses.Please make sure that you can make the date before acceptingthe prize.
