Members: Below is one of our Projects for 2015.

Republican Women’s Clubs from over our state, Northern California and the State of Wash-ington are collecting signatures for this initiative—Goal 100M signatures. Please download the sign up sheets—Lobby your family, friends and neighbors—They will sign it. This is such an easy sell. Eve-ryone is tired of the fires—smoke and devastation that occurs every summer. What a waste of our resources. Download Petition from JCRW Web Site The time is long overdue to return to responsible forest and fire

management as mandated by Congress. Good fire ecology will

prevent buildup of fuel and allow slow-growing vegetation, such

as trees, to survive. We will once again have sustainable forests

and vibrant economies. We request that aggressive salvage

harvesting, followed by reforestation, commence immediately on

our national forests.

Obama’s Disgraceful Deal with Iran—See Page 4 Right Column for Detailed Information. All Members & Friends Your Help is Needed to get our Elected Representatives in Washington to Vote against this Awful Deal.

“This Deal is a Bad Agreement. We can make a difference. According to the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015, Congress has 60 days to review the proposed agreement and vote to approve or disapprove it. If the Congress votes for disapproval and can override an expected presidential veto, the sanctions will not be lifted and it could bring Iran back to the negotiating table to discuss a better deal.”

Ruth Brodman—President Hello Members & Friends: For the past week we have been breaking heat records. We have been hotter on some days than Phoenix, Arizona. What is worse is the terrible smoke that we have been experiencing. Its these wild fires and they won’t stop anytime soon. This is because they won’t clear the de-bris that accumulates and fuels the fires. We

do have a initiative that we started months ago but for some reason we cannot get the Republican Women members across the State to get enough signatures to make a difference. It is frustrating. The Governor told a group at the Chamber Luncheon that she spoke at back in April that she had 150 million dollars to clear the forests. I do not see it happening. If you wish to help in this effort, please visit the JCRW website http://jcrw.us and download a form and please collect signatures from your neighbors, family & friends and return the sheets to JCRW—P.O. Box 636—Medford, OR. We wish to make a differ-ence. These signatures will be sent to Washington D.C. to lobby our Representatives along with sheets from Northern California and Washington Groups. It’s August and we are about 6 weeks away from our 7th Annual BBQ Fundraiser for our Education Programs. We will once again go the Hanley Farm for the event. It is a beautiful property and we promise you will all have a grand time. Our Auctioneer this year is our own Associate Member and supporter of JCRW Radio Host Bill Meyer. So plan to attend, help us if you can and please bring friends and family to this wonderful event. The invitations are in the mail and you should be getting them in a few days. Our 1st Vice President Phyllis Fletcher needs volunteers to help with the Raffle items, Decorations, Set up, Registration and lots more. Please send her an e-mail and volunteer to help in this Fundraiser. On August 8th the 5th District which includes Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, and Deschutes Counties, for a total of 6 Republican Wom-en’s Clubs will meet for the yearly gathering in Bend at the Bend Country Club for a Luncheon. There will be a guest speaker and each of the 6 Presidents will speak for a few minutes about their group and what we do and how we accomplish our goals. We will also vote for new District Directors for District #5. It is a wonderful experience. For the most part your Executive Board will attend and I hope others will want to as well. I need to know if you wish to attend. The Luncheon is $20.00 per person. So please call me or send me an e-mail no later than Wednesday Morning the 5th. I must make reservations with the Bend Club by then. My # and e-mail is located in the next column. Your President (that’s me) will be off to Phoenix in September (just 5 weeks away) to attend the National Federation of Republican Wom-en’s Biennial. This year we have once again qualified and will be pre-sented with another Diamond Award in Oct. at the OFRW Biennial in Pendleton. Our Fifth in a row. I am so proud of this group and it has been my honor to lead you all. We will be listed in the NFRW Pro-gram. Because this is a presidential election year, lots of the Republi-can Candidates vying for the Presidency will also be at the event in September. Should be wonderful and I am so looking forward to going and representing JCRW as a Delegate. I will be part of the Oregon Delegation headed by the State President Sally MacLeod. I will be looking forward to telling you all about this experience when I return. I understand that there will be over a thousand Republican Women attending from all over the Country.

Looking forward to seeing you all very soon Best to all Ruth

From U.S. Rep. Greg Walden…...

Stopping the President’s Deal with Iran In a recent statement, Greg Walden ex-pressed his strong concerns over the President’s deal with Iran. Greg believes it rewards bad behavior with permanent benefits in exchange for a temporary de-lay in their nuclear program. Congress will

review the deal in detail and Greg is committed to doing all he can to stop a bad deal. Most recently, Greg signed on as a cosponsor of H.Res.367, a resolution introduced by Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL) to formally disapprove of the Iran nuclear deal. It currently has 214 Republican cosponsors.

Improving Management of our Federal Forests

The House unanimously approved Greg’s proposal to defund the BLM’s new management plans for western Oregon. These plans only harvest timber on 22% of the land and only provide 27% percent of the historical revenue to the counties. They fall short of the requirements of the O&C Act and Greg believes the BLM should go back to the drawing board.

The House also approved a forestry bill to increase timber har-vests on our federal forests to reduce the risk of wildfire. This bill includes language Greg helped write to cut costs and increase harvest specifically for Oregon O&C forests. The House also passed a bill preventing the president from using funds to create national monuments in Jackson and Josephine counties.

Boosting the economy and holding regulators accountable

Last week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 427 – The Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act (REINS) legislation to make the rules and regulations issues by federal agencies accountable to Congress.

Congressman Greg Walden strongly supported the legisla-tion. The REINS act requires any major rule – those having a cost to the economy of more than $100 million – to be approved by Congress before it could take effect. All too often, small business owners find government red tape standing in the way of growing their business, creating jobs and providing affordable services in our communities. To make matters worse, the Administration final-ized 3,541 new rules and regulations last year alone, with 100 of these being “major rules” that would have an economic impact of over $100 million. Recent studies by the Small Business Admin-istration found these regulations represent a cost of $1.8 trillion to the economy, over $14,000 per American family.

So far in 2015 alone, the 32,266 pages of regulations have cost the American economy an estimated $42.2 billion. With our still struggling, the last thing we need is more expensive regulation and red tape from federal agencies. The REINS Act would be a solid step towards ensuring it is our elected representatives – who are accountable to us taxpayers – are making the laws, not unelected rule writers. WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Greg Walden (R-Hood River) issued the following statement after the Obama Administration announced it had reached a nuclear deal with Iran: “The regime in Iran exports terror around the globe, threatens the security of the United States and our ally Israel, and continues to relentlessly pursue the world’s worst weapons. It seems that the Obama Administration has decided to reward that bad behavior with permanent benefits in exchange for a temporary delay in their nucle-ar program. This is unacceptable for our safety and security. “The deal would give Iran billions in sanctions relief—money that could be used to finance more terror and weapons development that threatens our safety. And it would remove restrictions on Iran’s mis-sile and weapons programs, allowing them to continue work on in-tercontinental ballistic missiles that could hit the United States. “While Congress must carefully review the details of this agreement, I will do all I can to stop a bad deal that threatens the safety of our troops, our allies, and the American people.” Editors Note: President Obama has gone over the heads of the Congress and brought this deal to the United Nations, they sign off and then because of extreme pressure has now put this document in the hands of our Congress for them to “Look Over?’ We need to contact our Reps in Washington and urge them not to support this deal.” This Deal is a bad agreement. We can make a difference. Ac-cording to the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015, Congress has 60 days to review the proposed agreement and vote to approve or disapprove it. If the Congress votes for dis-approval and can override an expected presidential veto, the sanctions will not be lifted and it could bring Iran back to the negotiating table to discuss a better deal. WHAT YOU CAN DO

Call your Senators and Representative and urge them to vote to disapprove of the deal. This is important as many of our Mem-bers of Congress have not determined yet how they will vote. It should take just a few minutes for the phone call . (A Phone call will be more effective. If you wish to e-mail you can get e-mails from their web sites) PHONE INSTRUCTIONS Below are the Washington D.C. phone numbers for Oregon's sena-tors. Senator Ron Wyden - (D - OR) - (202) 224-5244 Senator Jeff Merkley - (D - OR) - (202) 224-3753 It is best to explain your objection to the Iran Agreement in your own words. You can use the short script below as an example To contact your U.S. Representative with this same message, please use the numbers below: Suzanne Bonamici 202-225-0855 1st District Greg Walden 202-225-6730 2nd District Earl Blumenauer 202-225-4811 3rd District Peter DeFazio 202-225-6416 4th District Kurt Schrader 202-225-5711 5th District Sample Script "I live in _____(City/Town)______ and am (Calling or Writing to urge Senator Wyden/Merkley or name of the U.S. Rep. to oppose the Iran nuclear deal because it will not block Iran from getting a nuclear weapon and will encourage nuclear proliferation in the region. I urge him to co-sponsor and/or support a joint resolu-tion stating that Congress does not favor the agreement and will not relax the sanctions currently in force."

Editor’s Note—We hear many complaints on Speaker Boehner not doing the job and siding with President Obama on many is-sues. Personally I do not see him siding with him on any of the important issues. I would like to see all of our Members and Fellow Republicans sign up on the Speaker’s Web site and get his daily addresses to the Congress and his remarks to the Press. Below are some that I have saved for your review. Please understand I take President’s Reagan’s Position. “80% is just fine with me”….There is no one that can agree 100% on anything. Even Husbands and Wives. If we all followed Ronald Reagan’s ideology — Romney would have won the Presidency in 2012 and McCain in 2008 and we would have elected Dennis Richardson as governor of the State of Oregon in 2014. Then all the horror we are dealing with today, would not be an issue. Please let us remember that in 2016, we will not only Vote for a President but also a Governor of the State of Oregon. Your VOTE does Count. July 20th WASHINGTON, DC – “Today President Obama ignored the concerns of the American people, and senior members of his own party, and allowed the United Nations Security Council to take up his proposed nuclear deal with Iran. Enabling such a consequential vote just 24 hours after submitting the agreement documents to Congress undermines our national security and violates the spirit of the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act, which passed the House in May with more than 400 votes. This is a bad start for a bad deal. The Ameri-can people expect their representatives to review this potential agree-ment and stop Iran’s push for a nuclear weapon, and we will continue our critical work to do just that.” July 22, 2015 WASHINGTON, DC – At a press conference this morning, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) discussed the latest House action to address the people’s priorities, and reiterated his pledge to fight a bad deal with Iran that puts our national security, and that of our allies, at risk. Following are Boehner’s remarks: “Here in the House, the people’s priorities continue to be our priori-ties. We’ve enacted the first real entitlement reform in nearly two decades; we’ve passed initiatives to fight human trafficking; improve veterans’ care; and most recently to promote free trade and American jobs. “This week, we’ll act to stop EPA regulations that’ll be killing thou-sands of jobs here in America. And soon we’ll complete a national defense authorization bill so that our troops get the pay raise that they deserve. “And while the president’s Iran deal may have been applauded at the United Nations, I think he faces serious skepticism here at home. Let me just assure you that Members of Congress will ask much tougher questions this afternoon when we meet with the president’s team. Because a bad deal threatens the security of the American people – and we’re going to do everything possible to stop it July 23 WASHINGTON, DC – At his weekly press briefing today, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) took the State Department and Secretary Clinton to task for continuing to stonewall the House’s Ben-ghazi investigation, saying that the families of the victims, and the American people, deserve all the facts about what happened. Fol-lowing are Boehner’s remarks: “On Benghazi, the Select Committee continues its efforts to hold the administration accountable. By refusing to comply with all relevant requests for documents, Secretary Clinton and the State Department are actually prolonging this investigation. And because the State Department – their refusal to comply, the Committee has called Sec-retary Kerry’s chief of staff to testify next week.

July 24th WASHINGTON, DC – House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) issued the following statement on reports that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails on her private, unsecure server contained clas-sified information, despite her past claims to the contrary: “Two inspector generals appointed by President Obama have now called on the Justice Department to investigate Secretary Clinton’s mishandling of classified email. If Secretary Clinton truly has nothing to hide, she can prove it by immediately turning over her server to the proper authorities and allowing them to examine the complete record. “What these reports demonstrate is the inherent risk of conducting our nation’s diplomacy and foreign policy on your home email and personal server. Secretary Clinton has repeatedly claimed that the work-related emails on her private home server did not include classified infor-mation, but we know that is not true. She has claimed she is well-aware of what matters are classified and what are not, and yet she set up a personal email server to discuss matters of national security de-spite guidance to the contrary from both her State Department and the White House. Her poor judgement has undermined our national secu-rity and it is time for her to finally do the right thing.” NOTE: Former Secretary Clinton has repeatedly claimed that her email did not include classified information. For example, on March 10, 2015, she said: “I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified material. So I’m certainly well-aware of the classification requirements and did not send classified material.” Editors Note—She certainly did—Read Page 7—right column (RB)

July 27th H.R. 1626, the DHS IT Duplication Reduction Act, is

just two pages long, but it has the potential to save taxpayers mil-lions of dollars. For example, did you know that FEMA has more than 600 separate IT systems? Managing all of those is costly, duplicative, and wasteful. The DHS IT Duplication Reduction Act will require the Department of Homeland Security to stream-line their information technology systems and eliminate redundan-cy wherever it makes good sense. Congressman Will Hurd (TX-23) sponsored the legislation, and as a former CIA undercover officer, he knows a thing or two about what it takes to keep America safe. Just seven months into his first term in the people’s House, his debut bill has now been signed by Speaker Boehner and is set to become the law of the land. July 27, 2015 | View Online Big Win: Report Confirms ‘Doc Fix’ Re-form Saves Taxpayers $2.9 Trillion This spring, when Congress passed the first real entitlement re-form in nearly two decades, Speaker Boehner called it “a big win for the American people.” Now a new report confirms just how big a win it is for taxpayers and future generations. According to the trustees who oversee Medicare and Social Security, this bipartisan ‘doc fix’ measure will save taxpayers nearly $2.9 trillion over the long term. Ryan Ellis, writing for Forbes, explains how: “To sum up, the CMS actuarial score of H.R. 2 projected that $387 billion would be reduced from Medicare’s Part A (Hospital Insurance) unfunded liability, and $2.5 trillion would be reduced from Medicare’s Part B (doctor visits) unfunded liability. Put those together, and you have a reduction in the present value of Medicare’s unfunded liabilities of nearly $3 trillion.” To sign up for e-mails from Speaker Boehner his addresses to Con-gress and his Press Releases go to: http://www.speaker.gov/

Washington Examiner—August 2nd 2015 Edited for Content & Space Governor of New Jersey CHRIS CHRISTIE New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie had a wide-ranging, sit-down interview on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday, where he hit teacher's unions and the Iran deal, said he would defund Planned Parenthood and stand for gun rights, and that he is "confident" he will be on the de-bate stage Thursday.

Only the top ten candidates in the polls will qualify to be on the Fox News prime-time debate this Thursday, and CNN's Jake Tapper said Christie is currently "on the bubble" of qualifying. "I'll make it. I feel pretty good," said Christie. "You know, I'll be very happy when the ten names come out and I'm in there, be-cause I think it's important. ... See, once you get on that stage, it's not going to matter whether you're number one, number five or number 10. You're going to have the opportunity to make your pitch to the Republican primary voters across America, and I'm confident I'll be there on Thursday night." On immigration, Christie said that the 11 million illegal immi-grants already in the country "are not going to self-deport" and "we don't have enough law enforcement" to deport that many people. Simple solutions, like those offered by Trump, sound really good in theory, and allow you to "pound your chest," but they're not workable in reality, said Christie. The border must be secured. He said he would soon roll out his policy prescription. On the Teachers Union—They're not for education for our chil-dren. They're for greater membership, greater benefits, greater pay for their members. They are the single most destructive force in public education in America."

Washington Post—July 27th Governor of Ohio—John Kasich There are reasons Kasich is getting a nice bump in the polls following his an-nouncement. At 4 percent in the latest CNN/ORC poll, he’s only 3 points behind Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.). Here’s why: 1. His frenetic delivery conveys excite-

ment and differentiates him from media-trained, plodding pols. 2. Ohio is a really important state, and a big and diverse one. This is not a small lily-white state Republicans have little hope to win in 2016. And Kasich is really popular there. 3. He’s talking tough on foreign policy, and unlike Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), not playing footsie with neo-isolationists. He’ll put troops into Iraq as part of a coalition if need be. 4. Competence and experience are reassuring to voters. 5. His blue-collar appeal and his humility (“I’m just a flawed man”) make him relatable. 6. He’s a problem-solver who doesn’t bother with pie-in-the-sky promises. He told Chuck Todd on Sunday on “Meet the Press”: “I’m not going to just make statements just to make them. Do you ever notice, when people run for president, they never keep their word? They never keep their promises. And the reason is they make promises that are ridiculous.” That’s refreshing in a field in which some candidates are promising to abolish the IRS. 7. He is knowledgeable on foreign policy and makes some con-crete suggestions. (“We can continue to maintain a decent rela-tionship [with China], but they don’t own the South China Sea. And we ought to send some forces in there to make it clear that they don’t own it.”)

Washington Examiner—August 2nd 2015 Edited for Content & Space DONALD TRUMP Trump: Obama has done 'nothing' for blacks, 'they are worse now than just about ever' By Barbara Boland • 8/2/15 1:42 PM A confident Donald Trump declared Sunday he will win the African-American and Hispanic vote and that Obama has done "nothing" for "African-American citi-

zens of this country." Obama "has been a very poor president," said Trump. "I think he has done a very poor job as president. We have 18 trillion dollars in debt and going up rapidly, rapidly ..." "We don't have victories anymore. China is killing us in trade. Mexico is killing us at the border and also killing us on trade. Mexico is doing unbe-lievably against us on trade." "You look at what's going on with Japan, you look at what's going on with Vietnam, you look at Saudi Arabia makes a billion dollars a day and we defend them, we get nothing," said Trump. "I understand your critique," said Karl. "But why do you say that means we won't see another black president for generations?" "Because I think that he has set a very poor standard, I think that he has set a very low bar," said Trump. "I think that it's a shame for the African-American people. And by the way, he has done nothing for African-Americans. You look at what's gone on with their income levels, you look at what's gone on with their youth, I thought that he would be a great cheerleader for this country. I thought he would do a fabulous job for the African-American citizens of this country; he has done nothing! They are worse now than just about ever." Trump told Karl he was leading the Hispanic vote in the polls. A July 20-21 Public Policy Polling survey showed Trump received 34 percent of the Hispanic vote, ahead of former Florida governor Jeb Bush, R-Fla.

Washington Examiner—July 27th Sarah Westwood Governor of Wisconsin—Scott Walker Scott Walker is running for president hardened by four years of fighting for fiscal pragmatism and public sector reform as governor of Wisconsin. Those bruising bat-tles, and his victories in them, he hopes will take him to the White House. He touts legislative accomplishments in a blue state, his defeat of militantly hostile unions, and his reversal

of the state's budget deficit. Walker slashed wasteful spending by forming a special commission tasked with rooting out abuse, and forced the state government to publish its expenditures online. Candidates often talk about waste, fraud and abuse in the federal govern-ment. But Walker's promotion of "big, bold reforms" during his gubernato-rial tenure suggests that fixing Washington's waste would be high on his presidential agenda, and that he'd tackle it the same way he did in Wis-consin. Examiner: What do you see as the most wasteful use of taxpayer dollars in the federal government today? Walker: I don't know if there is any one thing. It's not just the item-by-item, it's where's the best use of those dollars? My belief, my push, is about pushing money from Washington back to the states and even, in some cases, back to local governments. Shift power to states I'd do it for everything from Medicaid to transportation, workforce develop-ment, environmental protection, education. I think a fair amount of the waste is not just those areas, but the fact that they could be done in a way that is much more effective and efficient and definitely more accountable at the state and the local level. That's one of the things that I am going to try to push for in the first hundred days: the particulars, that kind of a fun-damental reform shift.

Editor’s Note—You can’t make things like this up. It is corruption at the highest level. President Obama will do anything to get what he wants and his buddies (the Dems) let him do it. Is it Fear or just downright Stu-pidity?. See our Secretary of State’s John Kerry’s answer to the Congress’s query...Who’s Kidding who! Reported in the Washington Examiner Lawmaker: Kerry doesn't know what's in the Iran side deal By Charles Hoskinson • 7/22/15 8:15 PM After classified briefings Wednesday with Secretary of State John Kerry and other administration officials, lawmakers say they aren't satisfied with the explanation of side deals on Iran's nuclear pro-gram that weren't sent to Congress, and still want to see the origi-nal documents. Rep. Mike Pompeo said Kerry told lawmakers that he has not read the side deals, never possessed a copy of them, and approved the nuclear agreement without knowing their details. "These side deals were essential to getting a deal signed in the first place. Iran believed these side deals to be important to an overall agreement, and so should the United States. It is essential for Sec-retary Kerry to know what's in the deal, and it is essential for the U.S. Congress to know what's in this deal," the Kansas Republican said. The agreement — signed July 14 by International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Yukiya Amano and Ali Akbar Salehi, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran — was an-nounced publicly, but parts of it are secret and there may also be secret annexes as well. Lawmakers are accusing the Obama ad-ministration of illegally withholding those documents.

A Federal judge warned the State Department it would "have to answer for" the destruction of Hillary Clinton's private emails if the agency doesn't "want to do anything out of the ordinary to preserve" records from her server. U. S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contre-ras also blasted the State Department for its seemingly haphazard approach to the dozens

of Freedom of Information Act lawsuits seeking Clinton's private emails. In a July 9 hearing for a FOIA case brought by Judicial Watch, Contreras pressed the State Department to ensure Clinton's aides at least three of whom who had their own email accounts on her private server and did not erase records subject to the lawsuit be-fore an upcoming legal deadline. "If documents are destroyed between now and Aug. 17, the gov-ernment will have to answer for that, and, you know, if they don't want to do anything out of the ordinary to preserve between now and then, they can make that choice," Contreras said during the hearing. "I will allow them to make that choice, but they will answer for it, if something happens."

Wealth without work. Pleasure without conscience. Knowledge without character. Commerce without morality. Science without humanity. Worship without sacrifice.

Politics without principle.

minster Abbey, London, on March 20, 1925.”

Latest round of Clinton emails heavily scrubbed 7/31/15 4:30 PM State Department officials released a heavily-redacted batch of Hillary Clinton's private emails Friday, including 37 documents that were classified, amid allegations that the former secretary broke the law by transmitting classified material on her personal server. The 6,148 pages of emails fell short of the 8 percent of records the State Department had been required to produce by the end of July under a court order. "We fell short this month," said State Department spokesman Mark Toner in a briefing Friday. Toner stated the agency would make up for the gap and noted officials "still intend to fulfill the goal." The emails published Friday were heavily redacted and, in some cas-es, indicated Clinton indeed handled sensitive material on her private server.

Adios, America

By Ann Coulter

June 1st 2015

Publisher Regnery Books

Ann Coulter is back, more fearless than ever. In Adios, America she touches the third rail in American politics, attacking the immigration issue head-on and flying in the face of La Raza, the Democrats, a media determined to cover up immigrants’ crimes, churches that get paid by the government for their “charity,” and greedy Republican businessmen and campaign consultants—all of whom are profiting handsomely from mass immigration that’s tearing the country apart. Applying her trademark biting humor to the disaster that is U.S. im-migration policy, Coulter proves that immigration is the most im-portant issue facing America today.

Ann has the courage to call a spade a spade and to frontally attack, like Joan of Arc. If more of us had her courage, we could easily preserve America as the best country that was ever built on Earth. At least, those who would rather keep low profile about their disap-proval of giving this country away to the invasion of illegal aliens, can read, now, in the privacy and safety of their homes what they did not have guts to say in public. Or, maybe, they will follow Ann's example and begin openly voicing their objections to their dispos-session and displacement. Her books are always well researched and interesting to read.

Editorial Reviews "Like other Ann Coulter books, its cutting wit and take-no-prisoners style is backed up by thoroughly researched facts, including facts that most of the media refuse to report." Thomas Sowell, National Review "...often-inflammatory, usually clever, sometimes laugh-out-loud funny..." — The Daily Beast "Coulter's argument—that the media and our politicians conspire to keep information from us about the effects of mass immigration from non-Western countries, and that such immigration will destroy the fabric of the country—is virtually unassailable." Ben Shapiro, Townhall

The New Democrat By Loren Spivack Loren's book "The New Democrat" is a par-ody of the Obama Administration based on a famous children's book. It humorously details the numerous failed policies of the current government and the century of liber-alism that led up to it) with snappy rhymes and equally amusing illustrations.

What a great and different book! Written in Dr. Seuss-like style (but with much more TRUTH), "The New Democrat" entertains as it edu-cates both adults and younger ones! Adults will note the subtle humor-ous details in the original (and amazing) artwork, and younger ones (including college students) may wonder why they weren't taught about this in school! The fundamental economic truths that lie within are pro-found, and will stimulate a great deal of thinking -- once you quit laugh-ing! An excellent, thought-provoking, illuminating coffee table book for any American, or anyone interested in either American government or the American economy. It’s got cap and trade and Solyndra and healthcare and the death pan-els and guns running to Mexico—everything you remember from the four years of Obama, all done like ‘The Cat and the Hat, in rhyme,’ ” he said. “It ends on election day 2012.”

In Spivack’s version, the wily cat is President Barack Obama, while the fish who tries to set things right again is Republican challenger Mitt Romney. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) make appearances as Thing One and Thing Two.

A sample rhyme from the self-published book pokes fun at liberal politi-cal name-calling as a distraction from key issues: “If the right-wing extremists try some radical scheme like balancing the budget, we’ll just call it extreme. They may say that taxes and spending need trimming, but we’ll just say that they’re racist, fighting a war against women.” Be sure to come to the JCRW Meeting on August 13th—He is a wonderful Speaker on the Economy and does it with such fun and humor.

New Book on Hillary—Should be a gas! Hope he brings this one for Sale on the 13th of August. By the way Members and Friends, both his books are at the JCRW Library in the Central Committee’s Office….. On Main Street
