The innovative design allows children to explore and interact in an upright position while developing the child’s walking and weight-bearing ability. When supported in MyWay, the wheeled frame allows children to propel themselves through their environment using their lower limbs, keeping their hands free to play and explore.

Postural SupportThe structure and comfortable postural support delivered by the MyWay harness can work for children with a range of needs e.g. those with scoliosis or lordosis, those with low truncal tone and those who experience dystonic movements. The MyWay harness provides a ‘hug’ like effect via the corset-style design, which can increase sensory feedback, dampen involuntary movement and provide comfort.

StabilityThe MyWay harness delivers the core stability that can support head control and limb movement, enabling children to achieve optimum stepping ability. The support and reassurance provided by the MyWay harness allows children to concentrate and use their energy on what they want to achieve.

Option of HoistingIf a child is unable to complete a standing transfer, they can be hoisted directly in/out of the MyWay frame in their harness using the optional hoisting straps accessory.

The open-back allows therapists to work closely with the child and their limbs while they are in MyWay, maximizing the therapeutic benefits delivered by the product.

MyWay’s casters are multi-functional and offer brake, direction lock, anti-roll back and resistance. This multi-functionality assists with steering, prevents backward movement and limits speed, allowing MyWay to be tailored to the individual child’s needs, promoting function.
