What is distance learning?

Distance learning according the English Wikipedia is defines as a methodof learning that does not require students to be physically present at a

particular place during the semester.

This method opens up opportunities for lifelong learning to studentsfrom all countries and all times, and gives them a chance to get diplomas and

certificates from almost any online universities in the world.

What is distance learning?

In the world today there are more than 130 million online students, andthe annual growth rate of the number of participants was estimated to be

around 20%.At the global level, the distance learning annually spend more than $ 23

billion.These fascinating data are changing every day, because the number of

eLearning participants continually increased. eLearning as a way to acquire primary or new knowledge, education,

training, retraining, monitoring trends in areas of interest or work, specificallyadapted to man today.

Benefits of distance learning

1. Classes can be held via streaming, transfer of multimedia content that does notrequire that you first download the complete file, and then observe, but it can do sowhile the data transfer in progress

2. Classes may be available in the form of printed materials that are stored as files on the server educational workers.

3. Students can communicate among themselves and with the teacher via internet forums, imejla and troop.

4. Tasks can be placed in the drop-down menu, and tests and exams can beautomated and are placed online.
