How to respond to problem behaviour? Act immediately. Focus on the behaviour, not the pupil. Do not humiliate them. Do not use favouritism. Treat them fairly. Do not overreact. Take things forward. Reseat students. Reprimand in private. Keep calm. Ask colleagues and the Institution for guidance.
