Preparing for your online class(es):Online classes can be completed 100 percent at a distance. Students and instructors communicate and collaborate in the Blackboard learning management system. First-time online learners are expected to complete an Orientation to Online Learning option prior to the end of the first week of classes. Successful students must be self-motivated and actively participate in the learning process. Textbooks and other course materials will be available through the bookstore on each campus. Your class(es) cannot be accessed in Blackboard until the first day of class. If you do not see your class(es) listed in Blackboard on the first day, please contact the HelpZone. More information about online courses can be found at www.sheridan.edu/distance.
