Day 1: Athens

Depart from your Country. Upon arrival meet and greet at Athens airport. Transfer to your hotel, Check in. Time to rest. Dinner and overnight Athens.

DAY 2 - Athens city tour

After breakfast, guided panoramic city tour of Athens with Acropolis site and Acropolis New museum. Continue with walking tour of the beautiful old town of Athens, Plaka and Anafiotika. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Athens.

DAY 3 – Argolis

After breakfast depart from hotel and get South towards the Corinth Canal (short stop). We continue with the visit of legendary Mycenae, the Lions Gate and the Tomb of Atreus and then we’ll see the preserved Ancient Greek Theatre in the world: the Theatre of Epidaurus. Both situated in Argolis area, Peloponnese. After lunch, we arrive to the most charming town, old Capital of Greece Nafplion. Check in to our hotel. Walking tour of the old town and dinner at a traditional tavern. Overnight in Nafplio.

DAY 4 – Olympia - Itea

After breakfast, get towards Olympia village. Visit of the museum including the famous statue of Hermes and of the archaeological site, birthplace of the Olympic Games. Lunch in Olympia and departure via Patra and the impressive Rio-Antirrio Bridge (short stop) towards Nafpaktos (short stop) and Itea. Check in to our sea side hotel. Dinner and overnight in Itea.

DAY 5 – Delphi - Kalambaka

After breakfast visit, short drive to Delphi where we visit the Archaeological site (Apollo’s Oracle) and the museum in Delphi. We stop for lunch in Delphi village and then drive towards Kalambaka/Meteora. On our way stop at Thermopylae. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.

DAY 3: After breakfast this morning, you’ll leave Athens for a few days. Crossing Attica and Beotia (Thebes), drive via Arachova on Mount Parnassus to Delphi. Visits of Apollo’s Oracle and the Delphi museum. Enjoy the local specialties with the breath-taking view of the Corinthian Gulf. After lunch, driving through the second biggest olive-grove of Greece, you’ll cross the mountain to the East and then, the impressive plain of Thessaly, to Meteora area. Check in, dinner and overnight in Kalampaka.

DAY 4: After breakfast morning visit of the Meteora monasteries with stops for some of the most impressive photos of your tour. Enter a monastery and a nunnery and have your lunch break under the Meteora. Then, drive via Grevena & Egnatia road to Vergina where you’ll visit the Royal Tombs. Follow your Guide to a unique tour of the treasures unearthed. See the tomb of the father of Alexander the Great, Philippe B’ and the precious offerings to the dead royalties. DAY 5: After breakfast morning drive to Philippi. Guided tour of the ancient theater, the basilicas, St. Paul’s prison and the agora. Continue with the Baptistery where St Paul baptized the first Christian in Europe, Lydia, and then drive to Kavala port, where he first stepped, to have lunch and see the famous Bema. DAY 6: After breakfast departure for a morning panoramic city tour, including the Acropolis, the Byzantine walls, the White Tower and St. Dimitrios church. DAY 7: After breakfast full day tour to Ancient Corinth with the Great Bema and see Kenchreae port, departure point of St Paul. Day 1: ATHENS


Breakfast. After breakfast you will be picked up for the half day regular city tour of Athens. This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon. HYDRA

The favorite island of the jet set, whose old traditional beautiful stone houses and mansions silently witness to a long and turbulent story. AEGINA

The largest of the three islands. Apart from its harbor, there are optional organized tours by air conditioned busses visiting the Temple of Afea (archeological site) or the Church of Saint Nektarios, whose relics are display. The above mentioned tours are optional and are sold on board the ship. Our stay in Aegina is about 2 hours. On our way back to Marina Flisvos, a traditional Greek folk show with singers and dancers will entertain you up to the final moment as the ship arrives at Marina Flisvos. Then depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games. (Dinner)

Day 3: OLYMPIA – DELPHI

Breakfast. In the morning visit the Archaeological Site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum. Then drive on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until the magnificent bridge which is crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpactos (Lepanto) and Itea, arrive in Delphi. Overnight. (Dinner).Day 4: DELPHI - METEORA

Arrival in Kusadasi (Turkey). Kusadasi, which means “pigeon island” in Turkish, is renowned for its covered bazaar, where you’ll find everything: antique furniture, carpets, jewelry, natural cosmetics, spices...just be sure

you’re willing to engage in some good-natured bargaining! Follow the throng of excited shoppers past the 18th century caravanserai (an inn, usually with a large courtyard, for the overnight accommodation of caravans), “Okuz Mehmet Pasa Keravansarayi”, which is now used by the hotel “Club Caravanserai.” It’s a feast for the senses and enough unique shopping to make you giddy. The town is also home to myriad cafes, restaurants and unique shops, and to the Fortress Mosque, a monumental structure built in the 17th century by the vizier Okuz Mehmet Pasa, all within the city walls. Cross the short bridge to Pigeon Island, where you’ll find the Fortress of Kusadasi, a Byzantine castle from the 13th century, and its museum, as well as an incredible panoramic view of the city. Later we will be arriving in Patmos (Greece). The holy island of Patmos is sometimes referred to as “the Jerusalem of the Aegean. “First settled by Dorian and then Ionian Greeks, it came under the dominion of Rome and, like other Aegean islands, was used as a place of exile for political prisoners. Among the prisoners exiled to Patmos was

Evangelist St John the Theologian (also known as St John the Divine), who was brought to the island in AD 95 during the reign of Domitian. During his long internment on this mountainous island, St. John wrote both the Apocalypse and his Gospel in the Grotto (cave) of St. Anna. In 1088 loannis “The Blessed” Christodoulos, a Bithynian abbot and soldier, received permission from the Byzantine Emperor Alexis I Comnenus to found a monastery on the island dedicated to St John, and on approaching the port of Skala from the sea your first sight is the massive medieval walls of the monastery, which stand guard over white-washed Chora, the island’s hilltop capital. Chora itself, the Grotto, and the monastery are all UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Day 10: RHODES

Arriving in Rhodes. The magnificent Palace of the Grand Masters, also known as Kastello, in the old walled city of Rhodes, will make you think you have stepped back in time. Once home to the fabled Colossus of Rhodes, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Medieval

City of Rhodes has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1988. The island is still one of the wonders of the world, home to world-renowned ancient ruins and traditional hillside villages, some of them made famous by The Guns of Navarone. The waters of Rhodes, so beautiful they seem to mirror the sky, are impossible to resist, as are her tranquil beaches. As you enter the harbor, Mandraki, you will be greeted by a stag and a hind, the heraldic animals of Rhodes, each high atop a column on either side of the harbor entrance. Yes, you are in for something special. Rhodes has been about 2400 years in the making, and she’s ready for her close-up.Day 11: HERAKLION (CRETE) - SANTORINI

Arriving in Heraklion. The vibrant capital of Crete welcomes you! The largest Cretan province, Heraklion is the birthplace of the Minoan civilization, the first in Europe. Founded in 824, the city of Hercules gave the world some of its most significant artists and writers, including El Greco (Domenikos Theotokopoulos), Nobel Prize-winning poet Odysseas Elytis, and

novelist Nikos Kazantzakis, whose Zorba the Greek and The Last Temptation of Christ became legendary films; his grave can be found within the city’s Venetian walls, near the Martinego Fort.Heraklion was one of the major harbors of the Venetian empire, and the city offers up myriad monuments of Venetian art and architecture to its guests. In the afternoon we will be arriving in the fantastic island of Santorini. Santorini is as you imagined, as you’ve dreamt, bright white buildings with blue shutters and doors lined up along the edge of the cliff, staring back at the blazing sun as it descends into the Aegean. It will leave you breathless. Take a jeep safari into the interior, or cruise to Santorini’s smaller islands and volcanoes. If archeology and history are your passions, visit the Akrotiri Village excavations. Or just sit in a cafe in spectacular Oia Village and watch the sunset. There is nowhere else on earth like Santorini, the Queen of the Cyclades. She will leave you breathless.

2. Cretan Cooking lessons

Folk tradition of Crete constitutes an inexhaustible contemporary cultural entity with customs, materials, spiritual features and ancient habits that have formed the core of the modern Cretan life over the years. One of these Villages, located close to the heart of Crete near Rethymno, is “Vatos” and it is relatively easy to say that life in this village, stills upholds the standards of the traditional Cretan way of life. Here is also where we find our “Cretan Spiti”, an old traditional house in the heart of Vatos Village, which was loved and maintained by its original owners for many years. The Spiti (which means house) was well known in the vast area and it led an authentic, yet quiet life. Therefore, since 2016, life in Vatos Village changed and the “Cretan Spiti”, following a necessary renovation and through its tours and activities, opened its door and heart to “outsiders”, welcoming them into its premises and inviting them to become part of one big family, the authentic and traditional “Cretan Spiti”.

3. Cretan Traditional Village Bakery Class & Tour / incl. lunch (1D)

Duration of the Bakery Class & the village tour: 10:15 - 14:00 . Lunch at the Cretan Spiti ( Home ) : 14:00 - 16:00This activity is a combination of a traditional baking class and an experience of the village way of life. Here at Vatos Village, we equip our potential or experienced “bakers” with the tools that they need in order to create delicious village bread .The activity will begin with your pickup from your selected location and you will be driven to Vatos Village, where you will arrive at approx. 10:15am. You will be taken to the house of our host, who will greet you with a traditional treat and make you feel welcomed and part of her family. We will then be taken to a specially arranged cooking spot in order to start our baking lesson, and specifically with the kneading of the bread dough, an approximately 1-hour process. When we have finished, the dough is left to rest for approx. 45’, during which time our village tour takes place. We get to see the Village school, the traditional village water faucets, the raki cauldron and “Grandma’s” traditional kitchen. By the time we return, it will be time to continue with our baking lesson and to shape the bread into its final form. This step takes approx. 1,5 hours and when we are done, the bread in left in the oven for approx. 45 minutes. When the baking process comes to an end (at approx. 14:00hrs). You will first taste your freshly baked bread and enjoy the outcome of your lesson. Lunch will be served with all the dishes made of genuine pure Cretan products such as olive oil, vegetables, cheese, meat, wine and of course all the ingredients are fresh and local. Your hostess will teach you about Cretan culture and history, share stories about her family’s life and make you feel just as if you are visiting close relatives or friends. Your hostess will wholeheartedly invite you into her beautiful Mykonian home and create a charming and intimate evening that will turn this visit to the “Island of the Winds” into a highlight of your trip. She will teach you about Mykonian culture and history, share stories about her family’s life and make you feel just as if you are visiting close relatives or friends. She will share stories about Mykonian true lifestyle and chat with you while you will taste and enjoy some Mykonian meze snacks like dakos with kopanisti cheese and tomato, louza (sun dried pork fillets), wine and Cretan raki. Most cooking ingredients will be readily available in special bowls in the kitchen area ready for the menu preparation. Teta will guide you through the whole procedure, giving the opportunity to everyone to master their cooking skills. There is a small intermission between the preparation and the tasting stage, which can be used for a short period of relaxation and to enjoy the company of those around you, but after that lunch or dinner starts, where you can consume as much as your belly holds. Moreover, guests upon request also have the option of visiting the family’s farm and vineyard and experiencing the traditional animal and organic farming or they can take a quick swim at a beautiful nearby beach.

6. Mykonos farm

Visit the Mykonian Farm & Family Vineyard of Mykonian Spiti Duration: 17:00 - 20:00

The ideal adventure that will bring us close to the traditional animal and organic farming of a Mykonian Farm. The adventure starts from the hotel, where the

bus will pick us up and take us to the farm. We will drive across the centre of the island that unites the city (Hora) of Mykonos with the homonym village of Ano Mera, a distance of 7 kilometers. We then continue by walking only 400 meters to the Mykonian Farm where we will be greeted by the Farm’s superintendent who will guide us through the territory, recounting the history of the places while showing us how the organic and the animal farming operates. Later, while sitting and relaxing on a traditional stone built couch sipping raki we will learn the history of the island’s farming, its livestock and its crops. During the storytelling of the Mykonian Traditional farming habits, you will enjoy a farmer’s snack consisting of bread, tomatoes, kopanisti, cucumbers and poor man’s black olives, accompanied by the traditional raki. Depending on the season, you can cut and savor products from the vegetable garden.
