  • Gran Canet is much more than a residential complex. It is a large open space that will provide you with freedom, and is adapted to your pace of life.

Canet d´En Berenguer is located between the cities of Valencia and Castellón, with quick, convenient access to both of them, and sur-rounded by many contrasting environments. Between leafy mountain ranges for walks and adventure, and fine sandy beaches and marinas.

Its proximity to the city of Valencia provides direct access to the ep-icentre of pure Mediterranean essence. Valencia is an open, cos-mopolitan city, where tradition and modernity live hand-in-hand, a cradle of artists, festivities and colour. It has some of the finest

shopping, enchanting quarters for strolling around and sites where culture and art can be enjoyed in all their forms.

Canet is best showcased on the seafront, and also through its choice of cuisine, over 300 days of sunshine per year and endless beaches with crystal clear turquoise water.

You will be able to play golf as one of the traditional Mediterranean sports with over 7 courses all lying within less than a 50 minute drive.

It is not by chance. Gran Canet knew how to choose the exact loca-tion to provide you with it all, where you will not have to relinquish anything. Somewhere to enjoy life to the fullest, at your own pace.

An environment with a wide choice of tourism and cultural activities. The Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (Arts and Science Museum) in Va-lencia is a must, as is the historical centre, the Cathedral, the Central Market, the Lonja de Seda (Silk Exchange), the Estación del Norte railway station, the Royal Marina, or enjoying a boat trip at sunset on La Albufera lake.

And just 30 kilometres to the north lies Cas-tellón. A surprising city with monuments such as El Fadrí, La Lonja del Cáñamo or the Post Office Building, and the Grao area with its wonderful choice of cuisine.

Just a short distance north from Canet are the Marjal del Moro protected marshes or the Estanys de Almenara comprising the habitat for many protected species and valued for their ecological value and biodiversity. To the east of Canet lies the Mediterranean Sea. To the west, the monumental city of Sagunto and the Sierra Calderona Nature Reserve in the background, whereas to the south is the River Palancia, the coastal town of Puerto de Sagunto and a long coastline characterising Valencia province.

Moreover, bulls, music and pyro-technics fill the streets of Canet during the town’s patron saint fes-tivities. These festivities are held on the days before and after June 29th. Bous al Carrer (Bull Running) with unaccustomed bulls and Vaquillas (young heifers) play the starring role in these festivities.

Concerts, street parties and shows and events with bulls are just some of the activities pro-grammed, in addition to tradi-tional dancing known as Dança and Ball de Plaça which fill the town’s streets with the sound of music, light and laughter.

The regional festivity of the Region of Valencia is also cele-brated in Canet d’En Berenguer with a show by a local young pyrotechnics group, Els Dimonis de Canet, to commemorate lib-eration of the city of Valencia by Jaime I in 1238.

In 2016 UNESCO declared the Fallas festivities in Valen-cia Intangible Cultural Her-itage, and is one of the most internationally well-known festivities. These festivities are characterised by tradition-al costumes, firework displays, Mascletás (firecracker displays), music and the Falla monuments themselves. The smell of gun-powder fills the streets from March 1st to 19th.

The main events during these popular festivities in Castellón are the Pregó procession, the Canyes pilgrimage to the St. Mary Magdalene Shrine, the Retorno night-time pro-cession and the Gaiatas pro-cession.

Concerts, firework displays, flo-ral offerings and gastronomy complete a week of unforgetta-ble festivities.
