Prescription medications you take every day such as insulin, heart medicine, or asthma inhaler

Prescribed medical supplies such as glucose monitoring equipment or blood pressure monitors

How you should prepare if you’re at school?During a disaster, ordinary objects in

your school can cause injury or damage. However, there are simple steps you can take to make your home safer. Start by viewing each room with a “disaster eye” and identify potential hazards.

Move beds away from windows.Move mirrors and heavy pictures away

from couches or places where people sit.

Clear hallways and exits for easy evacuation.

Store heavy items on the lowest shelves.

Keep an ABC type fire extinguishers on each level and know how and when to use them.

Secure pictures and wall hangings and use restraints to secure heavy items such as bookcases and file cabinets.

Know how and when to switch off your utilities.

Ensure that all window safety bars have emergency releases.

Be sure your home number is visible from the street so emergency vehicles can find you.

Nowadays, no continent on Earth is safe from catastrophe.

So we have to be prepare in any case like: in home, driving, on vacation or visiting.

They are many procedures for each emergency like earthquakes and you need to know some procedures to survive in emergency. There are some procedures that help you.

In case of earthquakes:Move away from the building to a

safe location - there could be a secondary collapse.

Do not attempt to enter and rescue others.

If you know the identity or location of someone who is trapped, notify emergency personnel.

In case of fire:You are required by law to

evacuate during a fire.If you've been trained in

extinguisher use and can safely address the fire, do so.

Evacuate the building and report to your Emergency Evacuation Coordinator.

Close windows and doors, if time permits.

If a decision to evacuate occurs, do not disobey the order and please cooperate with special requests (e.g., driving students who didn't bring a car to school) away from area.
