Meteorites The rural desert town of Leroy, Arizona and Mayor Cassidy are proudly gearing up for their 20th anniversary UFO Festival celebration. Tidal Wave: No Escape Nobel laureate John Wahl (Corbin Bernsen) is among the scientists assembled to look fort he cause of a series of devastating tidal waves. Ruling out forces of nature, they theorize the killer waves must be man-made. Ther's not one among them, a colleague declares, who hasn't pondered the possibility of controlling such a power. Wahl's former teacher, Stanley Schiff (Harve Presnell), suggests the waves may be caused by a bomb, citing General Jimmie Doolittle's idea that bombing Tokyo Bay during World War II could have created a deadly tsunami. A mysterious phone call about the Doolittle plan convinces Wahl that a scientist at the meeting is responsible.
