„HAND IN HAND FOR A WONDERFUL LAND”

Our life has been threatened by the mankind itself. We damage our surroundings carelessly and often unwittingly. We are responsible for our environment, including plants which are disappearing rapidly. The following slides are going to demonstrate the main causes and results of this process.

AQUATIC PLANTS

Aquatic plants are plants that have adapted to living in aquatic environments (saltwater or freshwater).

Many small aquatic animals use plants like duckweed for a home, or for protection from predators.

Forestation

• The planned investment is a major component of the planting of forest arboretum Miocene. The site is located next to the rock park nature trail, surrounded by wetlands. The garden paths leading to the arboretum. The Miocene forest plants are installing, which gives rise to the flora 20-30 million years ago.

• The Bükk National Park has installed 582,4million Ft in the Bükk arboretum to save miocen forest in Ipolytarnóc.

• In addition, along the ditch Botos a special nature trail and a canopy walkway were established.

• In Ipolytarnóc, The Fossils Nature Reserve showing the location - which is 20-24 million years old give home to trees of Bükkábrány and finds band.

• In 1944, and in the meantime declared 510 hectares town expanded world-famous nature reserve geological heritage gem, devastated by an ancient volcanic disaster protected site of rich tropical jungle. 1995 was declared as part of the total European natural heritage, the Council of Europe awarded the degree.

Forest areas in Hungary:• The primary reason for the loss of the forest lands:• -poverty, forced living • -lack of sustainable management of natural resources •  consequences:• -endangered plants• -wild life species-rich communities • -biodiversity,• -on soils, long-term livelihood of the local population,• -assist in climate change •  Hungary over the past 80 years consistently and • significantly increased the forest cover.•

2012• It was the Tree of Europe in 2012.• It is 400 years old.• This is in Felsőmocsolád in

Somogy county, Hungary. • In 2011 it got 11 158 votes .• Today the Bánó Castle Hotel’s

owners nurturing this. • Its legend is there was a disaster

that the tree just this survived. From the little linden’s crops borned again the burned forest.

• After the Turkish occupation the last garaboncids reclused and he went to the lair and the tree accepted him . After that the tree’s bole became a face and under the crust the three animal putting out their heads.

Some protected Hungarian plants:

Extinction of medicinal plants:Even today, the best medicines are natural medicines! Most

commonly used by the pharmaceutical industry. If they diasappear, pharmacy can’t use them for making medicines and pills.

-Camomile:Become extinct if it will be a natural anti-inflammatory and cough.

-Lime:With extinction not only the beautiful plant disappears, but will not

be natural medicine.-Basil: One of our herbs that has a good effect on heart problems,

stress-dissolve and slow-healing wounds

Pesticides

• 80% of our illnesses evolve from what we eat and drink.• The strong pesticides not only make people ill but the

plants too!!!• Its side effects can be headache, nausea, there may be

vomit, diarrhoea, sweating.

The overgrazing- The animals

destroyed much of the pasture, so the area of desertification begins

- The development of animal health, the female herds, flocks number

- Due to the increase in the number of herds and flocks, the animals need more pasture

- In surface mining explosions and drilling are used which obliterate the plants.

- As a result, the entire plant area is destroyed.

The greenhouse gases’ rate grows in the the air (like ozone, methane, carbon dioxide) Environmental conditions are getting worse for plants

The Global warming

• The Earth’s average temperature grows and the plants strength is getting weaker. The plants are expanding towards the poles and extinct finally.

What can we do for the World?

• Plant a lot of trees to have more forests. • Don’t grow the plants next to the roadway! • Try to avoid using your car all the time ! • Save the water! • Buy recycled things! • We should switch off the lamps if we go out the

rooms, and we shouldn’t leave on the TV, because energy stock dindles.

• Do not litter!• Collect waste selecively! IF YOU DO IT, YOU ARE A GOOD PERSON, AND THE WORLD WILL BE LIKE THIS ->
